This video hits so close to home! I hated pink growing up because of the perceived weakness and girly traits attached to it. I never wanted to wear dresses because I wanted to be able to play with the boys and not be restricted by my clothes. It was important for me to be seen as “one of the guys”. But I definitely couldn’t run away from my feminine side, it was still very evident in my actions. I’m still dissecting that whole period tbh. Love this one.
Relatable I tell you I was always hiding my emotions and feelings from my Lola and my friends I feel like I don't want to do that anymore I like the femininity of being able to express myself fully and having the confidence to be a bubbly and having fun

when I would become upset at work I suppress my emotions because I had not figured out how to express my concerns. I didn’t want to open up because it would come off as childish. I was embarrassed for people to realize a grown women who could not communicate well. I never get past 90 days on my job. I'm tired of my life being this way.
