Ok this is helpful; now how do I survive long enough to get my planes past rank 1
1. Pull back on the throttle when diving
2. Pull out of dive earlier
3. Use reverse camera to be aware of your surroundings
4. Dont attack vehicles next to big obstacles unless its an aa gun and your desperate
5. When in a dogfight, pull lots of evasive manuevers, you will get better at this with experience
6. Find your target, then go in for the dive

For 2024 battlefield V, just don't fly close to the ground... Flieggerfaust is broken and it won't be nerfed because the devs are incompetent and gave up on the game
I've found getting the planes levelled on Pacific really hard, i started late and fighting upgraded planes isnt fun, especially as an average at best pilot.
I know lol. The starting loadouts are like thinking you're shooting bb guns at planes that actually turn out to be spitwads instead. I suck ass at flying but would like to get better so I've been flying more. I spent nearly an entire game of breakthrough on Pacific Storm in a plane and afterwards the zero on the experience level barely had moved at all. It's tough.
@@KG-th3cr You're shooting BB's while your enemies are shooting from 20MM's or 50 Cal's.

@@KG-th3cr if you use the white corsair (forgot the name) its a decent dog fighter then when you get the 6x hmg its just busted against planes, have yet to use them on infantry, but the rockets can hit a tank for 70+ damage if you hit all 4.

It’s not turning faster he just controlling the camera
Its a Different camera setting. Its under Gameplay settings, turn battle roll follow cam offf (or something like that), but that shit ain't that easy. For me it makes it even harder to fly planes

Flying on console seems so much harder than on pc because it’s hard to track enemy planes with the thumb sticks and staying on target is difficult too ( for me anyway maybe I’m just bad)
Tip: use the side rudder (left Stick left and right) to make minor horizontal adjustments...
Change ur controls. I have my brake the left trigger and speed up the left bumper.
I play on ps4 and have *no* trouble shooting enemy planes
For me it seems easy to aim, just the maneuvering is hard. I think i can maneuver decently atmost, but my aim is cracked i think. No really tips just keep flying etc.

It's time to switch from infantry to vehicles. Good thing aircrafts don't shoot peas or nerf darts.
But they arent very good at the moment and got nerfed from a short while ago
Since 5.2 is out i only Play Tanks and Planes because i Het triggered after 5 seconds of infantry gameplay LOL

I have been playing bf5 for roughly 4 months now . I’m currently lv80 and mainly only fly planes . I love the pacific maps and breakthrough . I get on average 30-40k points per match and the kills vary . I think that’s pretty good.
I’m still having difficulty shaking a decent Pilot that is on my 6.
I try to air break and usually always get smoked.
What usually works for me is if I can take hard turns and have my wing dip into the water enough to make me stop almost completely; I can usually get the enemy to think I crashed or way over shoot me .
One thing that is overshadowed is the rockets for the BF/109 against tanks. Somewhere they have gotten a buff so a strafe can do about 50 DMG or more against a Churchill tank

One loadout I've stuck with is with the BF 109 G2. Armored Fuselage, Field Repair, 2 x 50kg Bombs, and Reinforced Wings. As an all rounder, the armored fuselage and reinforced wings improve survivability. Selecting bombs allows a way to engage ground targets without having to sacrifice flares for spotting. One downside is the field repair, which is necessary to pick the other tiers. Great for ground support and can hold its own against a variety of threats.

aircrafts always been a struggle for any battlefield game ive played. i loved the helis and controls in bf 3 and 4 and havnt looked into any guides so i think its time lol

It triggers to watch these clips and see the lack of fliegerfaust, you're flying way too low without being punished
planes are more of nuisance than threat and infantry usually focus on what happens on the ground
@@shepherdlavellen3301 I prefer to drop +10 planes per game while still doing excellent on ground, its a free 300-600 points to whip out a flieger for one second

I was playing on the pacific Iwo Jima, The Japanese planes were dropping so low I swear I could throw an anti tank grenade, I wipped out my Fliegerfaust and took them out
I suck at flying no matter what. I just cannot maneuver and I wind up being easy target practice for even the flak cannons and flak tanks on the ground. But I hope that I will be able to learn how to git gud at this as it looks like SO much fun to rain death from above.

This is for the lucky 5%, the other 95% of players spawn in the planes are almost immediately killed by the 5%
So for bombing do u just hold the trigger down when you have the bombs equipped to unload all bombs?

I am an avid pilot been flying scence bf1and I was wondering are the minegeshoss(explosive rounds) rounds good again? I can’t tell if they were buffed back to a usable state during the pacific update?

I customized my reticle color purple too! It makes it easier to aim at enemies from any distance ❤
The minengeschoss for the bf109 can take out Sherman's with two direct hits, very good for tank hunting

On 20% vehicle stick aim sensitivity I'm having trouble finding this in the opoins menu. Anyone?
My problem qith playing tank or plane is, on the menu with the card, even if one is available i cant use it. I have planes and tanks but in the Loadout changing menu i dont even have a tab for them

Here's a tip. If the enemy planes are better and you have no support, stay out of view, find one target and take him out. You will get his wing man attacking you, but don't back off, they'll double team you and you won't win anything. You will get shot down but don't give up the chase, kill your target before you die, that way you get a kill and a load of points before you die.
How do you even level up planes when all of them constantly in use?
can you plase make a video on the angled 20mm HE, Type no.1 mk 28 rockets and type 3 no.6 MK27

Very informative video on flying and yes Silk is really good I learned most of my flying from him the incendiary bombs have definitely been nerfed time to give those 500lbs a try but do you know if the 842lb single bomb is nerfed too? I use that one but idk if the damage has been reduced I took out like 5 tanks in one game with the 842lb
There's no point using the 842 lb anyways.
The 500 lb can one tap a tank if they hit perfectly. It's the only bomb I've been using since getting that new bombing circle!

I've been using the 842lb, it can do substantial damage, but it wont one shot a tank.

I remembered a time in bf5 when I was using a Anti aa gun, then I saw a British bomb, probably a 4000 lb bomb falling down on me I could nothing but look at it falling directly on my face
When in the Pacific a white plane gets on your back in the PS4 it's just byby, hell I often get 2 groundstrikers and a dogfighter at once
I'm playing it Ps4 and I can't switch from first person to the third person view, I already tried to switch all option in controls and video, does anyone know how to switch it?
For whatever the reason, DO NOT USE ANY ROCKET PODS AGAINST ENEMY PLANES. The 5.2 patch made it to where they explode right before touching the plane. I love using them but are actually broken.
How do you hit a plane with the rocket man ? Its so difficult...
@@Seckazu yeah they are, but its about trial and error with thoes things. But for now use the glider bomb and the angled gun on the fighters
I usually fly the mosquito with the tank round and before the patch it was a really powerful tool and now it does zero damage to enemy fighters..glitch?
Maybe im not sure, With that one i use rocker pods and the 4x250 lbs bombs for anti tank.
@@Seckazu It's cheeky. I have to lead it a whole size of a plane at the distance about 30 - 60 meters in my own practice. I'm not sure about the specific distances though. Considering need to predict your enemy's maneuvers, it's best to hit them in stalling, just like in the video.

i really wish i propperly could use my thrustmaster warthog and turtle beach velocity one rudder but i guess they are overwhelming the game with the amount of inputs they offer or some such...

Damn can you do an updated video Mate? The upgrades are different now for the BF 109 G-2. I’ll find someone else’s set up but I prefer your style of “Show then explain” better than what most youtubers are doing with just showing why their plane is the best without any explanation as to how each upgrade works with the last or how they complement which flying style you’re looking for. Thanks for the great video, however! Wish I got into this game sooner 😂
The BF-109 G6 was the most OP fighter in the game for the longest time. All you had to do was fly at the ceiling with the altitude package and come down to kill a plane then fly back up. If any planes tried to tail you, you just had to spin and fly straight up till they stalled then loop back down and destroy them. Now with the newest update, the P-51K can compete with the altitude and now the 109 has a plane that can compete with it. However, the armament for the P-51 is still bad.
How is it like when I get in a plane I get shot down in like 10 seconds and then when I’m on someone a AA kills me or they don’t die..
missed out on the Ju88cs 4x151 cannons along with air radar and an upgraded machine gun best 2 seat fighter in the game and its insane
Mossie with the 4x hispanos is equally fun to use, lack of self defence is one of its drawbacks tho.

Guys. I had bf 5 installed before and I managed to set zoom on plane and tanks while I am in third person to far out position so I can see more of a battlefield. After I reinstalled the game today, camera position in third person is very close to vehicle and it is driving me crazy because I cant find in settings where to change this. Any help please?

I feel like a heretic for liking the JU 88C with the 75mm cannon more than the mosquito FB 6 PDR, flying with my squad is very fun, I get one guy on the ground as either an Flakpanzer or a 38T with the spotting scope and my gunners are absolute legends. But I play on Xbox one anyway.
Should I practice with the ‘Plane chase camera roll off’ setting? Whenever I play with it I crash a lot and avoid getting in dogfights. Is it a case of practice or personal?
I think it might be personal. This is just the way I like to fly but I've seen really good pilots use different settings.
It's totally personal preference. The only reason I think it's such a popular setting is because it was forced in BF3.
There's players who do extremely well with either option, so just choose what you think feels best.
As a general rule, I feel like aiming with it on feels easier, but doing roll based maneuvers feels more natural with it off.

It's quite hard me to engage with planes when dogfighting. I paid attention to your manoeuvrings on the air with smooth angles. I play on PC and I use a keyboard. I use direction buttons on the keyboard and Q and E for manoeuvring. But when i click on any of the direction buttons on my keyboard, plane makes an immediate change of direction, not like manoeuvrings you show us in the video. For my manoeuvrings being very sharp and not ballanced, i easily miss the engaged targets on air. But you engage and are able to keep the target in front of you while doing soft manoeuvrings but when i click on my god damn direction buttons my plane makes so sharp moves and i hate it. I usually misfire. How can i fix it? Do i miss any configuration and do you have any suggestion for it?
if you want to fly planes play war thunder battle field is way way more centered around ground vehicles and infantry
A little late to the party, but… As of this writing, one thing that was not mentioned… The zero Mark five is absolutely devastating to tanks when using the rockets. Along with the corsair using the same rockets.

What settings have you changed for camera since when i roll, the camera rolls to with it but in your case i don't see that happening

And when there is a really good pilot on the enemy team no one wants to even pick the planes. They just bomb you as soon as you spawn.
I play in the PC, and control the plane with the Mouse is terrible

Does anyone know the brake button for the plane?
I’m brand new to BFV; how do you get the chance to fly planes all the time? I can never seem to get the chance to. When I died I went back to the map screen and hit left or right on the main base flag but the plane icon never shows up. I have only seen it once and when I started in a plane I tried to take off from the runway but one of my team members bumped me with an armoured car and I went flying off the runway and ended upside down; in a mad panic I dropped a bomb and blew myself to bits 😂 it was a total disaster.
