Hello Tesh, I am a professional butcher and in january i applied for a butcher position at ABP foods. They contacted me, i did a video interview and they got me into the recruitment process. they gave a list of requirements which were IELTS UKVI( iscored a band 7), TB CERT, ECG, HIV and HEPATITIS. I spent some cash on these requirements, they later asked for a video showing my skills and 2 recommendations from previous employers and i had to resign to get one. I waited for a month without response, i tried to reach them they told me they had taken alot of guys and that they werent takin oversies employees anymore. I was very very frustrated because i had spent all my savings and resigned from my wor. Im a father of 2, iv been jobless since then and i dont know who to complain to. Please advise
Hi Kebreen sorry for the late reply .I am really sorry for what happened unfortunately since you had not signed any contract with your employer I think it will be very tricky to be able to complain to anyone.Also I would advice you next time don't resign from your job to get reference.visa is not a guarantee and it can also take a long time for the decision to be made.I hope and pray you get another job in to be able to provide for your family.Goodluck on your job hunt don't give up.
Hi Alice I am sure you know about skilled workers visa.The main job is to get that job offer in order to get certificate of sponsorship that enables you to get a visa.All ican say is keep paying for jobs that are close to what you do example a care leader job.Another route though expensive you can try coming here for your masters.

Hi Kali no payment application should be done online however if you are shortlisted for an interview and you are successful then there is payment of visa,1200pounds or equivalent should be in your account.

I was almost conned kshs 250,000 2years ago good thing a friend from UK investigated & found it's not aunthentic.

Can you switch from charity visa into other visa like tier 2
Most likely you would have to go back yo your country of origin and apply for tier 2 but you can swith from student to work while still in uk
