I've been to Manhattan (NY), Las Vegas and Tokyo. Tokyo at night makes those other 2 cities look like little rural towns. Not just the amount of lights, but the architecture as well of some of those buildings. It is quite a feast for the eyes, you don't know which way to turn.
@7-11 WAS A PART TIME JOB Asian Student? Chinese or Japanese or Indian? I am from China, I think Asians, especially Japanese and Chinese, are very friendly and polite.
You mean because noone carries a gun around? Oh I mean FREEDOM LOL! If the consitution said I'm allowed to punch people in the face I'd do that too because FREEDOM LOL! So civilized!
I've always been impressed by the Japanese etiquettes. This walking video is shot amazingly and it doesn't surprise me with the content shown. The area is so clean, organised and safe. Even the traffic is patient and the drivers aren't locked in road rage mode beeping at anything that stops their way. It's almost litter free - and even then when there are scenes of litter, it is well organised and not strewn all over place. The people are civilised and respectful - no anti social behaviour. Talking of anti social behaviour - watching this video of central Tokyo (a very urban busy place where most anti social behaviour usually occurs around the world) is a big difference from some of the last few videos i have witnessed on TH-cam. If only other places around the world could take at least some of the etiquettes that Tokyo and Japan prides itself on, the world would be a better place. Thank you to the video maker for taking his/her time to create this wonderful content. It is appreciated.
I've been to Japan and it never cease to amaze me how clean the major cities are and how respectful and friendly the people are. Tokyo is a city with 13 millions people but hardly any trash or smell on the streets. The one week I was there I did witness a litter committed by no other then an American family. They have no shame because it was okay for them to littering back home.
*clears throat* Not all people from America litter. And there are stiff fines if you are caught littering here, it is just a matter of finding the people.
I live in Brazil and love those kind of videos, Japan is really an amazing country, a country that embraces its culture, its tradition and allies that with technology, and respect. Brazil and every other country should learn with Japan how to be a better society. Love how clean the streets are, and how well built is all the public infrastructure.
like usual, your video always amazing i am coming again to Japan on February, never get bored of Japan all about Japan are amazing, from the food, the people, the culture, the street, the technology.... i love JAPAN
I'm super impressed... I'm kind of an American snob.. I've traveled quite a bit and I'm usually glad to go home.. but I don't think I've ever seen a cleaner, safer looking city. Where in the world can you walk at night especially in those back alleys where you don't see garbage strewn about.. not even one sketchy person.. not even one vagrant begging for money.
This has always greatly impressed me as well. So many great city walking videos in the middle of the night, and not one ruffian or vagrant menacing him. Notice how no one jaywalks before the crosswalk lights change.
Education is the key, if you mass educate your population to be polite, clean and eat healthy, you get a much better result than raising them with guns, fast food, and brainless t.v shows. It does make a difference, I see many Americans defending their own country in a patriotic kind of way, but not many are questioning themselves what it actually represents that that they are defending, or asking themselves, "could we actually maybe do a better job than what we are doing at this moment? Problem is that many people don't know any better, because they were raised in this way. Which again is the reason why education is so important, because it raises awareness on how you can improve the world around you for the better.
One day, when I gather up enough money to visit Japan, I will go exploring the city at night. Maybe I will meet a man with a camera. I might nod as we pass, but I won't speak or intrude. Because the video he is making is not a vlog. Only Pure Japan.
I have almost the same thought, I just visited tokyo in the winter vacation at the start of 2020, it was so impressive just like the scenary in this video. However, after I left, the coronavirus broke out.......Hope that everything will come back and I am going to visit Japan again.
Bewitchingly dazzling fairs, consumer temples, towers; street-corner waterfalls; buildings in heart-warmig many-splendoured colours and rhythms; narrow shop-full alleyways; musical lakes in the dark; electricity as though it is given for free; non-vandalised, clean urban faacilities; even vending-machines not entirely perfect -- your videos have convinced me, and it is settled: next time I'm born, I wanna be a Tokyoite, and loiter through its streets in nights of cozy rain.
Wunderschön und stimmungsvoll. Es sind eine Menge Leute unterwegs und es wirkt trotzdem sehr beruhigend. Die Dame im Kimono am Anfang war ein wunderschöner Blickfang. Vielen Dank lieber Rambalac :)
This video has left me gobsmacked. Except the area under the railway bridge everywhere looks soooooooo neat and perfectly lit. Ginza, that gigantic square, that pedestrian boulevard, Hibiya Square...it's like walking in a dream rather than in the reality.
This was very impressive like William said no dirty back allies and other places like that were safe. As for the vending machine that was a testimony to you as I would have gotten very upset at the machine. But you remained quiet through the whole ordeal. Again thank you for making these videos I enjoy them.

What? You don't like the "equality" of the booogaaa boooogaaas robbing you or calling you racists because you won't give them hand outs "yo."
