- A unlimited meat challenge at a Brazilian steak house (Churrasco)? YES! Churrascaria & Rodizio are some of my favorite types of restaurant! Endless steak, chicken, fish, and so many other delicious bbq meats. Today we face off against the 16 different cuts offered at Avenida. We have 30 minutes to eat all the meats! This looks so incredible! Bacon wrapped filet mignon, rib eye, huge beef ribs - wow - Joel is in his happy place. That green/red card is a great idea.
The traditional red and green is usually made out of wood. Flip one end over for the green, flip again for the red. It looks a little bit like a Tinker Toy.

I remember about 10 years ago on a huge cruise ship having the same enthusiasm as Joel when I ate at a Brazilian BBQ place on the ship. I left my placecard on the green side the entire time. (green side up means keep serving me and red side up means please stop, (for now). I was in heaven eating the bacon wrapped filet mignon and sirloin and all the other meats. All cooked to perfection. Joel was in heaven too at this cool place. He looks real happy there.
I ate at a really high end one in Vegas, it was amazing
Don't know if they have such places in Scotland, certainly not where I live. Will look one up for sure! The meat looks lush!

This is really bringing back some memories. I've been to a different Brazilian Steak House (Fogo de Chao) and absolutely loved it. The bacon wrapped filet mignon was my favorite. People were betting against you?! If they could have skimmed through your channel they would see how foolish that is.

I have been to Brasil, at least 20 times. First started going in the early 80's with family. While eating there I dreamt about a what if they had a churrascaria's here in the states. Well, they exported the idea well. But, if you do have a bucket list, ensure you try a churrascaria in Rio or anywhere in Brasil where it started.
Who is betting against you? Besides being an amazing eater, you're driven, confident, motivated and absolutely big hearted in everything you do.

I've been there several times . That was my first time having Brazilian BBQ. I use to travel for work and this is the place we would judge all other Brazian places buy. They use to have chicken hearts on request. The beef ribs were my favorite.
This is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE RESTAURANT!!! I live in the Houston area and Avenida is very close to my house!!! In my house there is no arguing or debating where we go on Father's day or my birthday!!🤤🤤😋😋
Also, they are half the price of other Churrascarias but the meat quality is the same, if not better!

Every time we go to a Brazilian Steakhouse the front of the house directs us to the salad bar to start. It is always the best looking, most appetizing salad bar. It amazed me to see people load up on the rabbit food. Most of us would have no chance to enjoy the selection of meats after the salad. It is also interesting to see the size of the meat portions at your steakhouse. I’ve noticed that the cheaper cuts are more generously served than the better quality ones.
Yep I have noticed people loading their plates up with rice and potatoes, I can't not think how happy it makes the management to see people fill up on cheap heavy carbs.

I have enjoyed eating at a Brazilian steakhouse here in NorCal. I was at Santana Row and the place was called Fogo de Chao. One of my best meat feasts ever!

The ones here in the UK are rather more, how shall we say, “reserved” with bringing the meat round.
Can’t say I blame them, I probably consumed a good couple of hundred quads worth of beef when I’m there.
They only brought his so quickly and one after another because they invited him. If it was normal customers I’m sure it’d be slower and more reserved

The one argument that the Vegans don't have a counterargument for: If we shouldn't eat meat, then why is it so damn delicious?

It's a personal decision and it says something about you that you would attack someone about that.
I'm not a vegan, but my counter would be "Just because a food is delicious is not a definitive reason it should be eaten. Sugar is delicious and we know many reasons to limit or even eliminate it from the diet. And plenty of foods beyond meat are delicious. So eat meat if it's right for you, but eat a variety of foods because that is what nature intends."
@@bcaye You literally can't eliminate sugar from your diet. Eating meat? Neu5Gc. Milk? Lactose? Fruit? Fructose. Bread? Glucose. Most vegetables have some sucrose in them due to photosynthesis.

Best thing in the world there is, and the Brazilian barbecue. It's Simple Meat, coarse salt and charcoal. Just as they made us evolve into what we are today. Without masking the taste of the Food, filling them with sauces. The simple and delicious taste of meat at the right point. This is the Flavor of True Brazilian Meat. Great Video Friend!!!
