I think you are a super cool cat with great very serene energy!I have explored Traditional Thankga painting ...using the geometric formulas used by tibetan monks to achieve proportional perfection of the Buddhas has really helped me with human proportions in general.I can see how Thankga paintings relate to tattoos ..I think it is what attracted me to this ancient and beautiful art form
I love these films, I really hope more are made. Are they available on dvd to buy?

Breaks my heart to read thru the ratings for this and people mentioning "old timers" and not know what this documentary is about. As a tattooer myself i see what was eluded to about the dilution of the industry, the seemingly endless supply of tattoos that look like everyone else on the internet and the influx of the cool factor of tattooing. To me tuis documentary is about showing the excitement of being in love with tattooing and not doing it because it's going to make you rich or get you lai

Tsk tsk.. little internet commentary twats. Say what you want about Marcus, but until your on screen and going for it, your shadow lurking tid bits are crap. He's a nice guy searching and expressing what he enjoys and sharing his view point. He is contrasting the stereo typical ego attachment. It doesn't have to be cinematic masterpiece theater, it simply is what it is and having spent a bit of time with him years ago I found him very human. So to all the negative wankers, enjoy you pudding pie before you get your black eye!
