i asked my crush out 1 week before our graduation, before that for the last year of school i made it my journey to become friends with him. we ended up becoming bestfriends and I confessed.. were still together now haha
Spent half a year debating whether or not I liked this guy in my class last year. I figured out that I did like him (to an extent), but like, I never had a genuine crush before that, so I was just stuck staring at him and observing what he does in diff classes (year 10, so all classes are together) as well as who he was friends with. My friends agreed that he seemed like a green flag, so I stayed with that same crush. During summer hols, I went to New Zealand, and I wasn't there for the first week, so my friend said that he was in my homeroom. I got excited, but as soon as I came back, I find out that he left the school literally in the first week, so I got sad.
Timeskip to a few weeks later, I am slightly over him, but not completely. I'm the only one taking Politics, so just me and the teacher. This guy drops Chemistry cuz it was too heavy and comes to Politics. I barely looked at him cuz I barely talk to guys, yk? But legit two weeks ago, we were having after school tutoring sessions (cuz semester exams), and we actually talked and he's actually such a nice guy and easy to talk to. He takes PE as well, and my other friends take it too, and the PE teacher knows my family a bit too well cuz he taught my brother, so obvi he knows me too. The teacher and literally everyone, all the guys in my grade pretty sure, make a joke about me being the work-wife of the guy who takes Politics with me. I found it really funny at first cuz I wasn't actually interested in him, but now, after talking with him, I'm in the stage of debating 😭😭😭😭 I genuinely want to pull my hair out with how much I annoy myself with this shit, bcs I can never tell if I genuinely like someone or if it's just my brain trying to manipulate me into having a fake crush so I can fit in with other people, bcs when I was younger I never had any actual crushes and I would feel kind of left out bcs all the other girls would be talking about their crushes while I never did, so I would pretend to have crushes on people just to fit in, but now when I'm actually trying to see if I like someone, I have no idea if it's real or not 🙎♀🔫🔫🔫🔫
