As much as I wanted to jump the Palmer train my gut told me to go with Saka and wait a few weeks before using a transfer on him. I am thinking about keeping it a 4-4-2 line up. The AI says Wood and Saka are still a great combo but with Saka’s fixtures after this weekend I’m wondering would Gordon/Johnson and Watkins become a differential combo? I feel Gordon has to hit form soon (he’s actually playing pretty well) and his fixtures get better, Johnson may go on a great run with the fixtures they have and how he’s starting to flourish. Watkins has good fixtures and is starting to look like last year.
Im thinking of keeping Salah but I have no arsenal attackers. Should I opt to remove Eze for either Martinelli/Trossard or take a -4 to remove Salah + Joao Pedro to Saka + Solanke/N.Jackson or Palmer + Havertz. Suggestion please my peeps :D
Hey Dan, just a small suggestion. The last sell option has often been a little too obvious with players who are suspended, injured or transferred out of the league. It might be a little more helpful to include players who aren’t in those categories. I’m not including injury doubts here because those are good to include in my opinion, just the ones that are definitely out for the gameweek for the above reasons and obvious sells! Thanks! But the performances on the weekend are messing with me. I've realised united's defence is a lot worse than I thought and they seem like a team to target, particularly as watkins is beginning to really perform. I still believe Arsenal's defence is very strong despite conceding two goals and don't doubt that they'll probably still get a cs against southampton and potentially bournemouth too. But after that the fixtures aren't great and I'm wondering if I can manage without him. Sels has been very much on my mind, obviously the chelsea fixture is putting me off slightly but after that they look great. Only problem is I'm worried nottingham forrest's defensive form is gonna drop and I know sels also doesn't make many saves. I know that having the wildcard still does give me a lifeline tho if sels ends up being the wrong choice. What do you reckon I do?
Russell Martin will be sacked by the time City play Southampton. They may not be so easy. You say Spurs’ system favours the striker but they hardly passed him the ball vs ManU.
Really tempted to sell salah for saka, Southampton is the worse team in terms of defense and i got lucky with the saka blank, cz he had a phenomenal game against Leicester

@@FPLMate this is a new season and they’ve been much better. Last season they conceded fewer than Chelsea, Newcastle, Brighton, Forest and a bunch others. Point I’m making is I do feel like people give Spurs a bad reputation that is slightly exaggerated. They’re a very solid team and have been strong defensively through 6 games

Absolutely agree, I am reevaluating it! It’s why I made sure to point out in the video that Spurs really haven’t been that bad defensively, so we can start thinking about changing our opinions on them
