We are so excited! We ordered the NEW Atlas Lock for our motorhome from the people at RV Lock! This keyless entry lock used to be only available for trailers and 5th wheels, but NOW, we motorhome owners have one. It came yesterday and we got it all installed and set up. In this video, we will show you how it went (it wasn’t all roses, but we did get it done). Be absolutely sure to watch RV Lock’s installation videos since this is NOT a how-to, just a how-WE did it. We had the latch fail on our Tiffin 33AA, luckily not locked out/in, Tiffin sent us a new one but forgot the seal so they sent it separate. There is a small arm/lever on the outside plate the appeared to have the end broken off when compared to replacement and it would not release the lower latch. The symptom was the handle would pull and not open the latch. Did they send a new gasket/seal for the outside plate with the lock?

I was just re-watching. So the Atlas activates the deadbolt? Any concern that you try to open the door with the deadbolt in lock position and it gets stuck? I was thinking that it would just lock the handle like oem locks do.

From Derrick - yes the atlas does activate the deadbolt. We are not concerned about it getting stuck, because we have a key, a key fob, and a way to open it with our phone. So, even if the electronics fail, we do have a key.
