Uff-Da that's a chunk of change! But I imagine if one were to purchase separately, it would be more. Then another bonus is both systems are on one screen.
I gave my feedback to Haloview and was told there currently isn't a way for the TPMS data to show on screen when the camera view is on. But they tell me they may be able to add an overlay of the TPMS data that could be turned on and off if the user wants it.
I have there cameras ( 4 ) of them. I will say I don’t use them too much. Just way too many cameras and too busy. It’s too big. The time you get a GPS, TRIP planer, my Garmin, halovew monitor. Hehehe Just way too much stuff on my dash.
The power draw of the booster is rated at only 0.3 of a watt so not much concern, but a person could put a switch inline or disconnect when not towing. For me, I have near a 1000 watts of solar panels on the roof so just leave it on all the time.
Not being able go see the tpms readings as you are going down the road would be a deal breaker for me......i have an older haloview, it has been very dependable and i would be lost withoit it
Are the camera's from older models able to be paired to the new one? Ive got an older one I got 3-4 years ago and I added the sideview cameras that i would definitely want to reuse.
They have to be Byte Tango compatible so not likely, not too long ago they came out with the Byte Tango model systems and improved the signal and increased the resolution to 1080 Full HD. So I guess to do that they had to change the signals making the older cams not compatible.
@LoveYourRV thanks for the reply! I had been wanting to get a TPMS system, so I thought this would be a good option so I could upgrade the cameras too, but not worth it if I had to replace my extra cameras too
I'm not sold on this product since you can't have the camera picture up and PSI/Temp showing at the same time. It's either or. I kind of like to be able to easily keep tabs with just a glance at the TPMS. With this system I really have to count on the alerts working or fiddle around touching the screen back and forth which is not a safe thing to be doing.
I will never again have TP sensors that are not pass through! You have no idea how many brands are an absolute nightmare to get off when wanting to fill your tire. TST being the worst! It took the techs at Big O 45 minutes to get them off and broke a stem valve in the process.
I have been lucky as I haven't had that issue. I have used the EEZTire and Guta systems. It's good, though, to put some anti-seize compound on the threads amzn.to/4fq2DW5. I find that I don't really need to add air that often, maybe once a year. Guess I have good wheels. Cheers, Ray

Yes, and cheaper end stuff usually doesn't have good wireless range for longer rigs and picture quality is generally poorer.
Thanks Ray. Enjoy your travels this year.
Thanks, will do!
Nice monitor!
Thanks Ray. Great video. You did open up the scan function. I'm wondering if the tpms is part of it? That would make it a bit more user friendly

Helpful video. Any concerns with the repeater being a constant draw on the battery?

I bought a name brand TPMS and with all the interference there is now it’s trash without a booster

Me too. I gave them my feedback and are looking at developing some sort of overlay.

Will this work with TST sensors?
I can ask them but I don't think so, unless for some reason they are using the same underlying product but the TST sensors look different.
