In chapter 1 season 10 (season x), they changed turbo building back to its old values, which made building three times slower, from 0.05 seconds between each build, to 0.15 seconds between each build. Epic received a lot of back lash so like 2 days later they reverted the change. No need to nerf building anymore, since there’s zero build now.
@@TheAlphaTeamPlays call of duty warzone (the defunct 2019 version) did something similar for April fools after caldera was released as a map. Look up “totally normal Battle Royale” to see what they did

Nah it’s probably easier to increase input delay and nerf turbo build. I’d strongly agree that overpowered items would be abused by tryhards against the noobs so adding op items would be completely against the whole point of nerfing tryhards.
