- With the completion of the Tabernacle, Israel’s acceptance of the Torah and its presence in their midst, the true and eternal mission of the people of Israel is set into motion. Israel prepared a home for G-d’s presence and a center for His Torah, and G-d caused His presence to enter there. The generation of the desert did it! If they can make it happen, so can we!

Shalom! Thank you for your wise words Rabbi. So true, so true. It is the will of HaShem to give the land to the children of Israel and it is the will of HaShem to locate His presence in Yerushalayim. It is not a question of political will but about doing HaShem's will. Furthermore through the Temple the whole earth would be blessed. So why should anyone reject HaShem's blessing?!? The whole earth is full of confusion, but clarity comes through the Jewish people.
Could this golden calf not be the plunder the children of Israel brought out of the land of Egypt? How easy it can be to rely on our new found wealth rather than to rely upon TRUTH. TRUTH united in LOVE is God almighty the only God worthy of servitude. This is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The God of Israel reigns!
Are the clouds not those who testify concerning the God of Israel? And isn't their testimony not the rain that waters the dry cracked land? Hashem, please send the rain that the whole earth may drink and be satisfied!
