I have mine on all fours crouching on my shelf and he looks even more feral. But I stiffened the joints up with the glue technique where you put a drop of glue into the joint and keep moving the joint the glue hardens tightening the joint took me ages to master.
Thinking you’re right about the ankles. He’s a massive figure but is just always going to be too top-heavy not to have either ratcheted ankles or non-articulated. He’s an impressive figure nevertheless. Favorite Batman villain has always been Scarecrow.
The head sculpt on Man Bat looks really good. The wings have been textured nicely and they have some great vein work. I like the rips in the pants. The overall sculpt and details are solid. However, the gums should've been painted pink. The ankles are loose, which would've been resolved if Man Bat had come included with a flight stand. This is sounding like a broken record at this point, but the figure could've been afforded some extra paint in order to allow the details to stand out. This is still a great looking piece regardless. Thanks Spot! God bless and stay safe!
Kiki fix loose joints works great to fix loose joints. I agree with you they should have added a articulated jaw and they should have added pink paints instead of the purple paint application we got. I also wish this figure would have come with a additional set of arms with his arms /wings extended. I do love how they figure looks it has great sculpted details but sadly it's lacking paint apps and washes that would make this figure pop.
Finally managed to find and get my own ManBat and yes ankles are too damn loose and has trouble to stand, I'm considering getting tall transparent supports and put him in a flying position
Never been interested in this character. Can´t see the appeal besides being a monster. One thing I don´t get is that between Man-Bat having loose articulation joints and being a flying character why McFarlane didn´t include a flying stand. That would have sold that issue. PS My favorite Batman Villain is Penguin (don´t get why) since I adore horror should be Scarecrow. But he´s not even second to me but third. Riddler is the second for me. I also had a special place in my heart for Harley (when she wasn´t overexposed and Poison Ivy when she was straight).

❓ Video Question -Who is your favourite Batman Villain
Let me know in the comments below.
My favorite batman villain will have to be of course the main man himself the joker.
Man-Bat or Swamp-Thing for me

I saw this on the shelf the other day. And passed on it. But it does look really cool😉👌🏽thanks for the review!

The weak ankles are an almost unforgivable design flaw. Lucky the figure looks so friggen awesome.

Such comprehensive reviews, Keep up the good work, you have really influenced my purchase decisions
I have same issues with my copy of the figure with the ankles being loose and I used two displays bases to keep him standing up.
Mine never stands up for too long. I always come back the next morning to see him fallen over

New drinking game, every time Spot says ankles, take a drink....5 minutes in, Hic THUD!

do you guys know how much this figure is worth nowdays?
Not sure to be honest, why are you looking to get one for your collection?
The professionals know what they are doing. If you would of painted the gums or tongue pink it would of look like lipstick. At best an eyesore.
