If you need info about old and obscure CCG/TCG, just ask. I don't have all of them (missing mainly a few Japanese and some South-American minor CCG) but, with 1,080 different games, and counting, I should be able to help you.
@@metroghost8428 in 20 and more years of research, I have found only 1 card from that game. I few years ago I saw some cards on Ebay, but the seller was asking too much. The base set, Mandible, should have been followed by an expansion set, Raiders, but the game died immediately.
Sourcing images for this video in particular took so much effort. Sorry if any of them are a bit lacking, some of these games have barely anything online
Girls have generally never seemed to have much interest in tcgs or any card of collectable trading card franchises but I have noticed they have been releasing collectable kpop cards with the idols on them for girl-oriented audiences with success (usually just thrown in with albums or something) but girls go crazy over them. Maybe one day there will be a kpop tcg? I'm a girl tcg player myself and I never see or meet other girls playing unless they are being forced to by their husbands or boyfriends unfortunately and usually they don't even want to be at the event/locals. I wish more girls liked tcgs, they are really fun and cool
Kinda disappointed you dident cover maple story. That game has a very different approach to gameplay. Arc system is just super simple duel masters and that's not a bad thing
Kind of, they distributed the game for Western releases since Media Factory had no logistics network outside of Japan. They had no actual participation with designing any of the cards (with one exception, the secret rare Dark Raichu from Team Rocket)
The 3rd one feels kinda..... hm. Sexist? OhOH girls can't handle single maths and cool monster fighting. They can get truth or dare and chaaaaaarm making. Pre-teen girl me would have been so goddam insulted.
How many of these games have you heard of before? Don't lie. I'LL KNOW
Are you kidding? Look at me. Literally all of them (except star sisters that was new)
4:16 ahh so that’s where WoTC got the stickers idea for magic cards from. Just lifted it from a fails game 😌
It's crazy how WotC did this sticker thing recently too. I hated it!
I mean, like, in magic.
Of these games the only one I currently have cards for is Hecatomb. I'll have to hunt for the rest
Loving the content man. Great stuff.
Some...are mind breaking games... As in "why do you exist?"
I'd love to see the boardroom meetings that led to some of these existing

Thanks for the offer, you should join our Discord, that's where I pull info from the community from the most!
Wow ......if so I would ask you about the Terror tcg 1995 .....its old and very little info on the net ...Thanks in advance.

We *adored* Hecatomb. Still have my decks. Definitely not a perfect game, but the flavor is excellent.
As someone who's favorite magic set is Thr Dark I am definetly a fan of Hecatomb despite it's challenges
Trading cards will become the currency of the future
What's the most obscure tcg/ccg you have played?
Tech Deck.
There is also MLP CCG and TF TCG from them that are both well made games.
Wotc actually had nothing to do with the MLP card game despite being owned by Hasbro

Next time, I have some cards for Maple Story, it's pretty neat
Yeah, but it's really just wizards saying "I wanna be WoW TCG" so as cool and good as it is. I dunno how strange it is.
They also made Pokémon for a while
