Planning a trip on the san juan sometime in mid-April. I've been trying to tie an assortment of flies for my trip. Do you have any suggestions on must-have patterns for a day of dry dropper patterns and size for a day of wading. Thanks!
Sure thing! I’ve attached a list via our blog below. I wouldn’t recommend dry dropper that time of year as you’re limited to 2 flies in the quality water and it will most likely be nymphing unless you’re fishing to active pod of risers. Glad you made it! Trolling motors are illegal here so I’ve been using a Tren/Test cycle to up my rowing game recently.
