literally all i remember from the days of vine was youtubers making videos about cringe vine comedians in the exact same way youtubers do about tiktok today

As a black person i’m promising you you’re right, it’s deeper than what it appears. it’s unconsciously implementing these stereotypes into peoples brains and passing it off as humor. Even the non-racial ones, making up things about homeless people who already have so many negative connotations/beliefs surrounding their existence

That gender reveal one was actually done way longer ago in Montypythons " The meaning of life" ,when the woman asks if it's a boy or a girl and the doctor replies " it's a bit early to be pushing rolls on it now isn't it?"
Yes! That movie came out in 1983, literally 40 years ago. While its not a gender reveal that we have today, it is in essence the same joke and done a million times better. So they are 4 decades late with this one.
