This is an outline of 21 types of ornamental pheasants, some are more common among breeders, while other types are rare. However, it must be admitted that they are all very beautiful and interesting.
Not all these types of ornamental pheasants are present in these areas. And those that are present in our breeders are not equally represented. Mixtures of different species should also be added here, as well as existing mutations such as the platinum pheasant.
Some of the represented pheasants are present with multiple species, such as the cork pheasant or the Nepalese pheasant. Names are also a problem because they are called different names in different countries, so perhaps it is best to use Latin names.
In the case of some types of ornamental pheasants, the situation is that they are not so present in the wild because their habitats have been destroyed, but the number of specimens found in breeders is greater.

The first bird you presented is not a royal pheasant.
It has that name in our country, although the local names are different everywhere.

A nigdje nema običnog fazana (Phasianus colchicus)
Držanje divljih životinja nije dozvoljeno po zakonu u Srbiji, sa izuzetkom ZOO vrtova. Tako da je izostavljen sa ovog spiska, mada što se mene tiče veoma dobro izgleda.
Mogucnos kupovine
Kada je u pitanju kupovina ukrasih fazana, tu su dve opcije. Prva jes te nalaženje ponude preko malih oglasa, bilo u novinama bilo na internetu. Druga opcija jeste da se posete izložbe sitnih životinja, jer se uz njih održava uvek berza gde se mogu kupiti i ukrasni fazani.
Tragopans, monals, peacock pheasants, and arguses are not actually pheasants.
This is quite true, it can also be seen from the Latin names of birds. This is one of the reasons why I wrote the Latin names for each species in the video. However, this list was made according to a guide for ornamental bird exhibitions in Serbia, and I believe that similar lists of pheasants are used in many other countries.
