- Today we cover the new @GarrettTurbos G35-1050 mockup, some 3D Scanner action for new motor mounts. We also want to talk about why 2WD in the 4Runner is going to be better than most people think.

as someone who lives offroad in baja- land you see rwd cars and trucks out here all the time. Miata, even a lifter subaru BRZ... big fun with RWD offroad. There's no one type of offroading... the speedy type you describe will match your application perfectly... sheer speed will also help you get through anything needed with 4wd... most people are sheep... do your thing...

So glad your doin it your way. The 4runner community is a bunch of toxic gate keepers who hate different. They hated on me and then they saw my rays team Daytona m8 wheels on a 22 lunar rock orp lol. Slowly building mine also

Gotta stay off those FB groups. Hella toxic ass people on there. They hate in anytning different. And than when it's built, they call it a mall crawler.
So many people think there is only one way to build these things, that's a big part of the joy in modifying them. No limits on creativity. Personally, I wish that the Advan RGD2 offroad versions were a bit more up to the task of us skying out this thing.

Idk why anyone would think you can't have 4wd with the 2jz because belive it or not, you can. This guy is making a conscious choice to go 2wd. Let's see how things go. The motor mount fab was my fav part of the video 👌
We know it’s possible, but ultimately wanting to utilize a sequential, we saved a ton of headache going 2wd. So you’re right on par here.
also... use que-cards, whiteboard, teleprompter next to your camera with your talking-points so you don't loose your thought patterns...

I am running the Sherpa Crestone rack with Baja Designs LP 6’s for lighting
I want with my 2013 4runner 2wd I need this turbocharger....
We will be doing something special to Lunar2 with the 1GR, maybe we will be able to get you a bit of a roadmap.

How about electronics on the change
We are going with a Link Fury standalone, and multiple PDM's to control everything. This is a bit detached from a street rig at this point.
So why not start with a 2wd 4runner?
It wasn't planned out when purchased, so when the motor popped, went all in!
I need that next update! Now we patiently wait till next week. 🥲
