I don't suppose you would consider doing another free to play walk thru, for the absolute newest players? There are a lot of things, that you just don't know when you are new : how to use and get each of the currencies, what to do with personal base, what to worry about for the future, pvp legends, when to sell/salvage gear, etc. Most of the "new" walk thrus make too many assumptions about stuff that new players simply have no clue about.

Update: Depends on who is playing if the membership is worth it not. If you want to play seriously you will have to buy membership or spend quite a bit of money on inventory slots because there are so many catalysts that you cannot afford to delete because they cost precious marks or are a super rare drop. On top of that if you play both roles you have 2 sets of gear one for dps and one for a support role. Another thing is artifacts which require nth metal xp if you stack them to wait for double xp like a lot of players do they will just fill up so much space to. You can do what other people do and create characters that are just used for storage but a lot of stuff is character locked so you cannot do that. If you were here for previous episodes when they were out you may not have this problem but if you are like me a returning player and you have missed so much content you will not have maxed all your artifacts, upgradeable gear, or anything else. The good news though is that there is always something to do now at least with or without membership you will always find people to do content with it may not be what you want to do but it's something.
You only need it for a month really I got it for one day an I have leveled up 2 characters an artifacts in one day not all the way with artifacts but I don't see the sense in getting it.. only of there is something I see that I might spend 15 box on..

Like if yourcreating a new character or using power change token? You keep that power but if you wanted to make more characters after the membership is over , you lose those slots. Best to buy what you really want in the game🎮 then to buy membership.

If you will buy anything with real cash, your account will go from Freemium to Premium. Premium is good option if you don't want to spend extra every month. You still get extra character slots, access to cash, chat etc. Though with membership you get extra perks mentioned in the video. So it's your choice.
As a member you just get more character slots, 20 I think. More space in our bank and the use of powers you couldn't use before along with the shield weapon fighting style. You also get some Replay badges and 500 Loyalty points and more daily rewards If you wanna call them (Rewards) But as a free player you don't really need the membership due to fact. (thanks to the update) .You can use your base generator and mods now for free. (thanks to the update) .You can use your escrow cash now without being a member. (thanks to the update) .You can use your utility bait, backup, orbital strikes and orbital drops. (thanks to the update) And this is half of what made the membership worthwhile in the first place, at least I don't have to get it and worry about the fact people aren't doing Raids and Alerts because their standing around the WT or H.O.D all day realizing getting membership was worthless to begin with. Now I DONT have to get it at all Lmao! Edit: But it helps if buy a membership at least once for the above perks, even after the membership you still have access to your escrow, generator and utility belt stuff also thanks to the update.

Yeah only few powers are available for FTP players. Just like before. You gotta purchase the others or buy membership so you can access all powers at once.

Artifacts XP or Seal of Completion. You will need to focus on leveling up your artifacts as fast as you can since Artifacts are going to greatly improve your perfomance of specfic role u will be in. Make sure to level up correct artifacts. 😊
I haven’t bought it yet since I started playing again but I was looking at it on the PlayStation store and you know it’s like 120 bucks for one year that’s not a lot of money entertainment wise and if you’re playing an MMO hard do you know that is a major source of your entertainment so 120 bucks over the year I mean there’s a lot of people spend way more money than that just renting videos I mean it’s not outrageously priced right but I’m gonna play for free until I decide I need it and then I’ll buy it

@@inapalmeira Character slots return to the previous amount you had before being a member, and if you have exceeded the amount, you'd have to lock some of them. However, powers/shield weapon stays with your created character.

Years ago and maybe they’ve been more change it since but I played not too long ago and I have millions of cash and no subscription. I mean I remember the old days when you had a 2009 cash cab and everything else was in escrow when you spent money would backfill from escrow unless you were a member, but I am not a member anymore and I have literally millions in cash.

I just re started this game back up after years and never really did end game stuff before and so far I've been able to do anything I want and get enuf currency to upgrade stuff pretty quick, my CR going up every single raid I do, and I have almost a mil cash so I'm not sure wat the new f2p money cap is but I haven't reached it yet lol as far as I can tell just about the only thing I can't do is start my own league, I can join one no problem, just can't start one of my own which I don't want to do anyway so idk wat the disadvantage of f2p even is anymore lol
You don't need membership to level allies and artifacts, that's wasted money that could be used on seals of completion for your artifacts/augments. I have 140k+ ally favor and haven't had legendary for 7+ years and i have 3 maxed out allies.
Been paying for the game 4 10yrs and its still messed up because I paid alot we all have the vets have they should make it to where we keep all are money. New players should have it like that. We should not have to struggle with only 50,000 come on man
Agreed. However, if you have even spend $5 in marketplace, your account is premium. And for premium there is no cash cap. Its unlimited. So, I guess that's good =D

Haha! Aii so this Space base was given free to players during 2020 Live Charity Stream and then again this year (last month) for 2021 Charity event. If you logged in during this time, you shouldve gotten it for free. All you need to do is to relocate your current base and then see what base styles you have. Also check out Wayne Manor Mansion base, its for 15 bucks but totally worth it. Huge and awesome with big room + personal batcave. 😊

Sometimes bank automatically block international payments or game related bank. I had to call my bank too and tell them to unblock daybreak payments. If that's the case, do this and you should be good. If bank side is good, you can always open ticket with daybreak helpdesk. They reply quick when it comes to payments 😂
Dude daily log and rewards are a function of almost every MMO in existence it’s not a mobile game thing it’s literally I’m a mole thing and usually there’s a R a premium version of that that gives you more rewards every game if they didn’t already have it has tried to work it in over the years

Sorry bro, zero knowledge about Macs. From what I have heard, you can't game on Mac so I never bought one 😂 But I think there might be some emulators to run 3rd party apps on Mac. Your best bet is to submit a ticket and ask from Daybreak help desk.
You need to run elite content to get renown. For this DLC, that would be Return to The Earth 3 elite alert and The Sourse Wall Elite Raid. Renown is called Death Metal if I remember correctly. 😊
That's right. Sub-gear, Skill points, maxed out correct artifact for your role, all these things would matter before running the elite content. As its more difficult version.
based on the latest changes to the daily rewards system maybe goin free is better BUT if they do want to make the game better theres no money to do so BUT at the same time all it really looks like is this group wants to milk the game for what they can get out of it now so its your choice whether you want to feed the machine or choke it to death....as long as its make them money itll still be here once they stop making the money they want to see thatll be the end of the servers CHOICE IS YOURS!
Can free2play even use the broker? I'm free2play right now and when I try to add an item to the broker it asks me to open up market place. I plan on buying membership one time only.
Sadly you can only "Buy" stuff from broker as F2P player. You will not be able to sell stuff until or unless you buy membership. Trading options are limited when it comes to free to play and premium players. No restrictions with membership tho.

I been playing since launch an the only thing I don't like is I brought 29 episodes to help lower cr players an get feats on the lower cr episodes once i was max cr an fully max modded an my membership expired so I feel like they should of gave players like me that brought damm near all the episodes all while still being legendary like 75% of the games lifetime some extra stuff like 20 or 40 or 50 or 100 free stabilizers in our inventory or something but other than that this update brought me back today an I like it

Until they make being a vet and being able to fully use all Iv gained in old content and make old content available no matter how many people are in group I'm staying free to play! I get the stat clamp on say the last two or three episodes for new players but it's BS I can't utilize all Iv gained in old content. Let me have fun let me feel powerful, make getting old group feats possible solo because I have the CR that can. Revisit and fix these things and I'll reconsider being a member like I was in the beginning yrs! Like said iv supported the game and devs with full membership for 4yrs. I gladly do it again if they fix the stay clap for old content if your CR is above it and make old content doable.even if it's just you! It's stupid and no reason with a 373 CR I should drop down to 150 for said old content!
Gadgets precision is top. Followed by celestial, HL, fire, etc. Powers are pretty much balanced atm. Just gotta find the right loadout and rotation with maxed out artifacts.
HL means Hardlight. As in green lantern for heroes and yellow lantern for villains. I would suggest you start with Electricity. That power is literally you pressing 12345. You can check the video on my channel, that should help you out. If there are still any questions, im always here. 😊
Hi there, I play on PS4 (no PS4 Plus) for free with 2 characters. But now I want to create more characters without paying membership every month. I see two options but am not sure which one works or is worthy. (1) Spent $500 marketplace money to get 6 characters and buy 3 power sets. Are the new power sets permanent for use without a membership? I mean, can I keep using the new characters with the new powers? Are the 3 new powers always available whenever I create a new character (within the limit of 6, of course)? (2) Get membership for 1 month. That I know will give me access to all powers and 16 characters. Imagine I create 10 characters with 10 new powers. When my membership expires, do I automatically become Premium and have access to 6 out of 10 newly created characters with the new powers? Or do I need to spend $500 marketplace money still to become Premium and before getting the membership? Hope my questions are clear. Thanks for your help! 🙏🏻
1) Yes you get to keep all the characters with new powers. Since you have bought the powersets, you can make new characters with them anytime you want. 2) This is cheaper and better option. So whatever characters you create with new powersets, you get to keep them after membership expires. The only difference is that after the membership expires, you won't be able to make new characters with locked powersets, but get to keep what you already made. Only need to spend $5 in marketplace to get premium. Not $500. Hope this helps 😊

Yes you will have to buy $5 worth of items from marketplace to get premium status. If not, after membership you will be back to free to play status and would only be able to access two characters.

Unlimited ingame currency means you can have almost infinite amount of ingame cash. And of course then you can use that cash to buy items from broker and other players. 😊
Me personally.. i want nothing to do with being a cyborg and having chips embedded in My Green Lantern.. it isnt relevant.. its stupid actually.. they coulda made more in depth content for us.. and gave us you all an option to be a cyborg.. vs forcing it on everyone.. last time i checked.. a green lantern does not need chips to enhance their bodies.. If you will buy anything with real cash, your account will go from Freemium to Premium. Premium is good option if you don't want to spend extra every month. You still get extra character slots, access to cash, chat etc. Though with membership you get extra perks mentioned in the video. So it's your choice.

As a member you just get more character slots, 20 I think. More space in our bank and the use of powers you couldn't use before along with the shield weapon fighting style. You also get some Replay badges and 500 Loyalty points and more daily rewards If you wanna call them (Rewards)
But as a free player you don't really need the membership due to fact. (thanks to the update)
.You can use your base generator and mods now for free. (thanks to the update)
.You can use your escrow cash now without being a member. (thanks to the update)
.You can use your utility bait, backup, orbital strikes and orbital drops. (thanks to the update)
And this is half of what made the membership worthwhile in the first place, at least I don't have to get it and worry about the fact people aren't doing Raids and Alerts because their standing around the WT or H.O.D all day realizing getting membership was worthless to begin with. Now I DONT have to get it at all Lmao!
Edit: But it helps if buy a membership at least once for the above perks, even after the membership you still have access to your escrow, generator and utility belt stuff also thanks to the update.

Yeah only few powers are available for FTP players. Just like before. You gotta purchase the others or buy membership so you can access all powers at once.

Artifacts XP or Seal of Completion. You will need to focus on leveling up your artifacts as fast as you can since Artifacts are going to greatly improve your perfomance of specfic role u will be in. Make sure to level up correct artifacts. 😊

Yes you get access to all the powers. No you don't get power tokens. But you can make new characters with all the powers.

Sadly those are still not free. You can purchase them separately. But if you get membership, then everything is included in that.

@@inapalmeira Character slots return to the previous amount you had before being a member, and if you have exceeded the amount, you'd have to lock some of them. However, powers/shield weapon stays with your created character.

Years ago and maybe they’ve been more change it since but I played not too long ago and I have millions of cash and no subscription. I mean I remember the old days when you had a 2009 cash cab and everything else was in escrow when you spent money would backfill from escrow unless you were a member, but I am not a member anymore and I have literally millions in cash.
The free Episodes is why I came back having to pay for all episodes is why I left because it wasn't worth paying so much for the episodes for me

I just re started this game back up after years and never really did end game stuff before and so far I've been able to do anything I want and get enuf currency to upgrade stuff pretty quick, my CR going up every single raid I do, and I have almost a mil cash so I'm not sure wat the new f2p money cap is but I haven't reached it yet lol as far as I can tell just about the only thing I can't do is start my own league, I can join one no problem, just can't start one of my own which I don't want to do anyway so idk wat the disadvantage of f2p even is anymore lol

You don't need membership to level allies and artifacts, that's wasted money that could be used on seals of completion for your artifacts/augments. I have 140k+ ally favor and haven't had legendary for 7+ years and i have 3 maxed out allies.
Been paying for the game 4 10yrs and its still messed up because I paid alot we all have the vets have they should make it to where we keep all are money. New players should have it like that. We should not have to struggle with only 50,000 come on man
Agreed. However, if you have even spend $5 in marketplace, your account is premium. And for premium there is no cash cap. Its unlimited. So, I guess that's good =D

Haha! Aii so this Space base was given free to players during 2020 Live Charity Stream and then again this year (last month) for 2021 Charity event. If you logged in during this time, you shouldve gotten it for free. All you need to do is to relocate your current base and then see what base styles you have. Also check out Wayne Manor Mansion base, its for 15 bucks but totally worth it. Huge and awesome with big room + personal batcave. 😊

Yes brother. They are free now along with Lair Systems. You can get all the tacticals mods for free, as long as you unlock all Tiers with your source marks. 😊

Sometimes bank automatically block international payments or game related bank. I had to call my bank too and tell them to unblock daybreak payments. If that's the case, do this and you should be good. If bank side is good, you can always open ticket with daybreak helpdesk. They reply quick when it comes to payments 😂

Dude daily log and rewards are a function of almost every MMO in existence it’s not a mobile game thing it’s literally I’m a mole thing and usually there’s a R a premium version of that that gives you more rewards every game if they didn’t already have it has tried to work it in over the years

Sorry bro, zero knowledge about Macs. From what I have heard, you can't game on Mac so I never bought one 😂 But I think there might be some emulators to run 3rd party apps on Mac. Your best bet is to submit a ticket and ask from Daybreak help desk.

You need to run elite content to get renown. For this DLC, that would be Return to The Earth 3 elite alert and The Sourse Wall Elite Raid. Renown is called Death Metal if I remember correctly. 😊

You need 6500 renown for full set of gear. Raid drop 800 renown per run. Alert drops 150 renown per run.

That's right. Sub-gear, Skill points, maxed out correct artifact for your role, all these things would matter before running the elite content. As its more difficult version.
based on the latest changes to the daily rewards system maybe goin free is better BUT if they do want to make the game better theres no money to do so BUT at the same time all it really looks like is this group wants to milk the game for what they can get out of it now so its your choice whether you want to feed the machine or choke it to death....as long as its make them money itll still be here once they stop making the money they want to see thatll be the end of the servers CHOICE IS YOURS!
Can free2play even use the broker? I'm free2play right now and when I try to add an item to the broker it asks me to open up market place. I plan on buying membership one time only.
Sadly you can only "Buy" stuff from broker as F2P player. You will not be able to sell stuff until or unless you buy membership. Trading options are limited when it comes to free to play and premium players. No restrictions with membership tho.

I been playing since launch an the only thing I don't like is I brought 29 episodes to help lower cr players an get feats on the lower cr episodes once i was max cr an fully max modded an my membership expired so I feel like they should of gave players like me that brought damm near all the episodes all while still being legendary like 75% of the games lifetime some extra stuff like 20 or 40 or 50 or 100 free stabilizers in our inventory or something but other than that this update brought me back today an I like it

Another thing I could swear back in the day when I was a member I also and this is an important one I also got keys or whatever they were called open the capsules unlimited number of capsule openings at every day and the free to play guys they got one per day and those damn things would pile up and pile up to the point where you just had to spend sum Cash and buy the keys to unlock both of them pay to play I’m in the membership guys they didn’t they can open them all day long that was one of the biggest Perks if you ask me

Until they make being a vet and being able to fully use all Iv gained in old content and make old content available no matter how many people are in group I'm staying free to play! I get the stat clamp on say the last two or three episodes for new players but it's BS I can't utilize all Iv gained in old content. Let me have fun let me feel powerful, make getting old group feats possible solo because I have the CR that can. Revisit and fix these things and I'll reconsider being a member like I was in the beginning yrs! Like said iv supported the game and devs with full membership for 4yrs. I gladly do it again if they fix the stay clap for old content if your CR is above it and make old content doable.even if it's just you! It's stupid and no reason with a 373 CR I should drop down to 150 for said old content!

Gadgets precision is top. Followed by celestial, HL, fire, etc. Powers are pretty much balanced atm. Just gotta find the right loadout and rotation with maxed out artifacts.

HL means Hardlight. As in green lantern for heroes and yellow lantern for villains.
I would suggest you start with Electricity. That power is literally you pressing 12345. You can check the video on my channel, that should help you out. If there are still any questions, im always here. 😊

Hi there, I play on PS4 (no PS4 Plus) for free with 2 characters. But now I want to create more characters without paying membership every month. I see two options but am not sure which one works or is worthy.
(1) Spent $500 marketplace money to get 6 characters and buy 3 power sets. Are the new power sets permanent for use without a membership? I mean, can I keep using the new characters with the new powers? Are the 3 new powers always available whenever I create a new character (within the limit of 6, of course)?
(2) Get membership for 1 month. That I know will give me access to all powers and 16 characters. Imagine I create 10 characters with 10 new powers. When my membership expires, do I automatically become Premium and have access to 6 out of 10 newly created characters with the new powers? Or do I need to spend $500 marketplace money still to become Premium and before getting the membership?

1) Yes you get to keep all the characters with new powers. Since you have bought the powersets, you can make new characters with them anytime you want.
2) This is cheaper and better option. So whatever characters you create with new powersets, you get to keep them after membership expires. The only difference is that after the membership expires, you won't be able to make new characters with locked powersets, but get to keep what you already made.
Only need to spend $5 in marketplace to get premium. Not $500. Hope this helps 😊

Yes you will have to buy $5 worth of items from marketplace to get premium status. If not, after membership you will be back to free to play status and would only be able to access two characters.
When will cross progression come out? I was on xbox playing then i switch to pc

Unlimited ingame currency means you can have almost infinite amount of ingame cash. And of course then you can use that cash to buy items from broker and other players. 😊

Time isnt real to me so free to play only makes sense. I already bought the rage power set so i have all i need to enjoy.
Me personally.. i want nothing to do with being a cyborg and having chips embedded in My Green Lantern.. it isnt relevant.. its stupid actually.. they coulda made more in depth content for us.. and gave us you all an option to be a cyborg.. vs forcing it on everyone.. last time i checked.. a green lantern does not need chips to enhance their bodies.. WILL POWER FUELS THEM.. all this upgrade stuff does is take away from game play time.. its stupid at best.. and it takes away from being an Exobyte Infused Hero....
