I was at the Dollar general yesterday looking for the penny items. All valentines and purple square 🟪 price labels penny out. Last week the valentines products were 95% off. For you donations....best senario for you, make a small purchase ( a bottle of ice tea) during the week. At the bottom of your receipt there is a $5 off coupon on a $25 purchase on Saturday. Then buy $25 toothpastes or wipes etc. On Saturday of that week. I have 6 dollar generals in a five mile radius. Yesterday i went to 5 DGs looking for those penny items. In each store i bought a soda, a candy bar, chips plus the few .01 items i found. I now have 5 receipts with $5 off coupons. On Saturday... there is a gift set i want for my bougee savvy friends for mothers day. I will go back to all 5 stores to get the $5 off each set and the beverage sale this week... After I clean my stainless steel, I polish it with rain x. For me I feel it helps the problem of prints..

I use it and I clean houses with it, I love it! Tubs, sinks, showers etc.
I use a wet microfiber cloth to clean my sisters stainless fridge. When needed, add a drop or two of dish detergent to clean. All those chemical cleaners are really not necessary. The world was a lot healthier before all the toxic chemicals were used and people cleaned with soap and water. We have been programmed to think we need to buy a cleaner for everything. You can save so much money and breathe easier simply by cleaning most things with a little soap and water. To disinfect, I like vinegar mixed half and half with water. And also peroxide. Baking soda is great when you need to scrub a stain. I bet if you tried that powerwash challenge if you just used a few drops of dish detergent and water, it would have accomplished the same thing. If you have stuck on food, simply wetting it good with soap and water and placing a paper towel over it and leaving it set for a while, it will loosen it up the same as using powerwash. I think people have become to use to wanting instant gratification, so they want something that works really fast. But, if you don't mind waiting the extra few minutes, you can usually accomplish the same thing. Thanks for sharing the dollar general video, I forget about them sometimes and I do enjoy shopping there. And as others mentioned here, they have the save 5 dollars on 25 dollar purchase on Saturdays. That's definitely the time to shop and stock up.
Yes ma’am the dish spray does work. I personally use it to clean 🧽 the bathtub and shower. Works great. 🎀

I have been shopping at dollar general for years and have a lot of good stuff for $1.00. I get toilet paper and cat treats. Tooth paste.
Dawn works good on white clothes and I have used on color clothes too
Oh and I did get some of the pretty plastic bowls and plates a rug some nice bath towels for a steal and shower curtain, bath rug ❤❤

@@confessionsofadollartreeaddict just like the 99 only store, mine was awful! I heard dollar tree bought some of the 99 stores in Southern California. I saw someone also say they didn’t buy the one in my city! Would have loved a new Dollar tree but that’s apparently not a good location. I think I only went there twice and that was because I was getting my car serviced up the street and had to pass some time.

I found an e-cloth specifically for stainless steel . Its great! You can use with water or without. You can stop buying all other stainless cleaners and wipes! Enjoy!
Good morning Marina, I enjoyed this video very much, and I hope you continue doing them. I have been using the Ultra Brite Spray, and it works great. I find it comparable to the Brillo Spray that DT sells. But it’s nice that you can get it for a dollar. Those quarters add up. 😊👍🏻
I make my own homemade dawn dish spray. Two ounces of dawn soap & two ounces of isopropyl alcohol and the rest water shake in squirt bottle works great
Love this! This was really good and I was just at our Dollar General yesterday and got things on clearance. The cute items and cups you were looking at were on clearance at my DG. I got some great items and all in the clearance section and if they didn't ring up correctly the cashier done over rides on the prices. I also just came across this channel called Country Couponer and she teaches us how to find the penny items and discounted products along with food. She has a video teaching us how to look up the bar codes that have the penny items and clearance items. Some can be 70% off too. ❤❤
One thing that will help with you stainless steel fridge is you must wipe WITH the grain not against it. In this video you do both. I am going to try these wipes as soon as I find them.
I would go for the DG power wash just for price alone because it did work and it's 5.00 cheaper
great haul. I am enjoying this one. There is a local DG for me and I wish they had the toilet gels. I love them. I did buy a bunch when I saw them at DT. I used to go to DG all the time but I got a little obsessed with shopping there. Please add DG to your shopping.

I use DG ble😮😮ach and other $1 items since Dollar Tree increased their prices. DG also has the digital $5 off $25 every Saturday. I sometimes forget to go on Saturdays tho😆

I use sprayway stainless steel spray. 2 cans for 8 dollars at Costco and has lasted me years. I use a Microfiber cloth to clean and then another to buff away streaks. Works great!
Try on your stainless steel refrigerator in a spray bottle 1/2 vinegar and 1/2 water shake and spray leave it on for about 3 minutes and wipe it off with a cotton dishcloth. It will smell for a little while but your frig will shine.

Dollar store $1 Cinnamon is on recall for high levels of lead. different brand names, look it up and toss it out
Hey there! I wanted to share that with the stainless steel cleaners - while the surface is still wet from using the wipe on your stainless steel use a dry paper towel to buff the surface. I find if I just use the wipe it stays streaky but buffing gives it the mirror look. I’ve also had luck using the orange scented pledge cleaner on my stainless steel - a light spray and buff it in with clean paper towels and it helps keep the surface from getting fingerprints on it.

Great walk thru, you found some awesome deals. I will be checking out these things on Saturday. The one thing i found with stainless steel and my cooktop stove, after i wet it i use a microfiber cloth, i have a thick one, wipe it dry and no streaks works great, you have to do it before it drys tho. Comes out beautiful. Thanks for showing the products. I like DG towels for the cotton too.

Try orange oil on your fridge. I used it on my old one, and it takes all the streaks and fingerprints off.
Not sure where you are located but I have lived in three states over the last 4 years. The DG you are in is an exception to me. I find that DG are always disorganized and dirty messes. I go there only when I have to. Their merchandise is usually just thrown on the shelves and they little to no items for a $1.00.

Thank you for showing us the stainless steel wipes. , I have a refrigerator that has the fingerprint resistance stainless steel , which does not resist Fingerprints actually, and it is very frustrating. by your demonstration it looks like the wipes work and I’m going to try them.
Try Clorox Scentiva multi surface the blue one for your fridge it's amazing. Basically on everything.

The dollar section will save quite a bit of money compared to D . T. Gt power wash comparison , pretty good .
If you give to the homeless..bar soap make sure you pit a reusable bag so they can save it to reuse also most people don’t realize how important under garments are to the homeless..you can use a screw driver to open the plastic up a little more to get the wipes out easier..you can use oven cleaner on stainless steal as well..the best all purpose cleaner = vinegar water and a tbsp of dawn love the content gave me a bunch of new ideas and cost saving help ..I donate to the people on the side of the road asking for help as well I try not to give cash but I like helping even though right now isn’t the best for me (lost my job) …I also give to the people living in tents on the roads around here..It’s bad in Baltimore not sure where you live …thanks for the tips so I can help more people!!

Hi Marina! I’ve been shopping Dollar General for years. I literally have one up the block from me. They do have great items for absolutely great prices. There $1 sections are pretty much always well stocked and the items DO change often. So you do have to grab when you see items you like. The only warning I have is to really know your food item prices. Especially dairy and some refrigerated items. Because Dollar General’s prices are a little more expensive. But if you don’t have another option to shop elsewhere OR are in a pinch then it is what it is. I’ve run into Dollar General for eggs and milk plenty of times.
I rather spend my dollar at Dollar General anyway there products work great😊
The streaking is was from using too many and too damp clothes. Try the one thin through the hole and check your results. When it comes to stainless cleaning less is more
I love Dollar Generals dollar stuff. My local DG doesn't have a lot either. But it's cheaper than Dollar Tree.
Forget the stainless steel cleaners. Just use Murphy's oil soap diluted in a sprayer. I don't think I've ever bought a single stainless steel cleaner since using the oil soap on my stainless steel. No fingerprints, no streaks. Keep in mind the surface of your fridge might be oxidized or damaged if any of those other cleaners were harsh.
I have a friend who keeps a bottle of the dawn power spray in her shower and sprays it when she showers and she says it helps keep the tiles clean and streak free .

I’ve quit shopping at DT when they jumped up to $1.25, and now I’m hearing a rumor that they will be doing another .25 increase! I always shop at DG, then Walmart with what DG doesn’t have or the different products I am needing! Forget DT and the greed!! We even have a new Family Dollar/ Dollar Tree, but half is not priced and I can’t figure out which store I’m even buying from! We are getting a new DG with fresh fruits and veggies!!! Can’t wait!!!😊
The power wash is a degreaser, does not act like chlorox, great video. Works great on stains on clothes

Does anyone know how to keep dollar solar lights working. Once they get rained on a couple times they are duds 😢. Work no more. Even more expensive ones do not like water after a while.
Hmm wow I wonder if it could be the area you live in? I test them in the store I must admit if they dint light up automatically I have decided they are duds already. I have my solar lights for years to be honest and the weather in New York is just wet and gross. I'm not so sure it's the rain as much as the heat that does them in where do you live?

I use dawn power wash on my clothes all the time. It doesn’t stain.
Clean your fridge 1 LAST TIME and cover w contact paper. = no more fingetprints, or streaks .but you need to wipe off stains

You cleaned the handles up and down. They came out looking good because you cleaned with the grain. I've been told to clean stainless steel you wipe with the grain so as not to cause streaking. So I was told.

Have you ever tried pledge furniture polish to clean your stainless steel. I use it for my refrigerator and especially my sinks (at the end of the day when I’m no longer going to use the sink). i’ve never had an issue with streaks on my refrigerator.
