I know Im asking randomly but does any of you know a method to log back into an Instagram account?? I somehow forgot the account password. I love any tricks you can offer me!
@Enrique Quinn I really appreciate your reply. I found the site on google and I'm trying it out atm. Takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Guys thanks for the great videos but you cut out the part that I needed (at 5 minutes 29 seconds) which shows how to remove the inside panel to allow access into the door itself. This is the part that I'm stuck at. Your video cuts to removing the latch without showing how this is done. Once again thanks for the videos. OK, I just watched the whole video and got a pretty good idea of how it comes apart from watching you re-assemble it. It looks tricky. Thanks.
Jason Swain. You need to remove the two circular foam stickers to locate the two 10mill nuts that connect the glass to the runner. Once youv removed those nuts, hold onto the inner door card and slide it right half an inch to release the clips and it should then come off in your hands
Had to watch another video. It was door panel removal. You have to loosen the clamps that hold the window and prop it up. They used tape in this video.
I hate when mechanics do this. The most important part of the procedures, you just skipped over. II you don't actually show the actuator replacement. This video is not helpful
I just Replace the driver side rear door lock assembly after watching the video. It went pretty smooth except the door open Warning is still coming up on the dash. I don't know why.
Update. I purchased a used rear door wire harness from ebay and change it with the one on the car and the warning light is off. Ya! Rewind few weeks ago I change the rear passenger door lock assembly but the door open warning light still came on. Well all fixed now!
Yeh ,try claim ford warranty in australia. We've had several problems with our 2012 fiesta ,including this one and the local ford dealer tried to charge us each time.
how do I know that this is what I must do? Isnt there any diagnostic I can do before trying this? What happens with my rear door passenger side is that it wont open from the inside at first, but if I open it previously from the outside, then it will open from the inside. Id like to know if maybe I need to set up something before trying to repair anything. Thanks in advance.
I wonder the same thing. Mine won't lock at all. From inside, the locking lever bounces back. When centerlocking, all doors lock just this one stays open
@@romeovarga3059 Hey I managed to get it fixed. There was no either way of doing it rather than disassembling the door as shown here. However, the good news is that you don't really need to get a new door lock mechanism as mine was refurbished after taking it out. Seems like an electrical issue that affects this single piece that prevents it from getting a signal that tells it to unlock.
Getting to that part is insane. Why do they make it so complicated. It seems that if you take it to the dealer, they would charge a lot. I can take my panel off and move two wires attached to the door locking latch and 3 screws holding the latch in less than ten minutes. You would think a cheap car like that would be easier to fix than a high-end car. My friend has a car like the one you fixed. The latch doesn't work. He told me that it has a recall on it.
Ford Recall on this issue. Recall # 15S16. A responsible shop would have advised viewers to check with Ford before attempting this. Let Ford fix it for free. All 4 doors.
This video fails to show how to remove the inside panel. Very important piece that is almost a crime that they didn't show is that you need to lower your window slightly to reveal two 10mm bolts that are affixed to the window slider. These MUST be removed so you can detach the inner panel from the window. From there, you have to lift your window up off the inner panel clamps, and the inner panel will come free. I was about to hulk off the inner panel until I got a flashlight inside and saw what was happening. Could have broken something! Here's a video that shows you the two 10mm bolts. You can access them via two circular holes near the middle of the inside panel. th-cam.com/video/AxSckWbvjSg/w-d-xo.html

Jason Swain totally agree. How they left that out I have no idea. Downvoted.

You didn't show how to get the regulator trim panel off
You completely left out the removal of the plastic inner piece that is attached to the window!!! What's up with that, that is the worst part!!!

How much to fix and pay someone
You never showed how to remove the inner panel..
