The Hard truth is Amorim can not make it here in this league and I said it before he even arrived. Ruben amorim has hid behind these players for far far too long and it's embarrassing. I'm going to say this again, these players are bad but they are not 13th bad, they are not crystal palace bad, they are not LEICESTER CITY BAD!! I'm telling you now, managers who refuse to adapt will never make it, NEVER. Amorim comes from a league that is levels lower than prem and on top of that doesn't have the amount of pedigree that someone like mourinho had in his prime with Porto yet this guy can fail and fail and fail and fail because these players are " the worst man united side ever". And I'm going to keep saying that he's never going to make it in this league, three at the back with wingbacks don't work in this league anymore, last manager to even be remotely successful with it is tuchel and man crumbled near the end. Playing Dorgu on the right isn't the surprise, the surprise is that Dalot the worst wing back in Europe is still in the team. He can play Amad RWB and Dorgu LWB. Garnacho LWB because he only plays on the sidelines anyway he doesn't contribute to a No10 position he's supposed to be playing.

I don’t get this system nonsense, if a manager feels that the 3 at the back doesn’t suit the players, just play 4-3-3 in order to play better football. A better manager changes the formation.

I actually wanted De Zerbi or Inzaghi but I didn't mind when we got Amorim the only reason I didn't want him was because he was gonna favour Dalot and Bruno Portuguese tax. The whole shoehorning Dalot at LWB when we just bought a fucking LB but no he still wants to play Dalot on the left and Dorgu on the right. I knew he was gonna still play Dalot on the left no matter what. I thing I've despise from the previous managers is continuing to show the obvious signs of favouritism and most times it's towards our shit players and our ballers or players with tech get pushed out. With that truth here is the reason I don't trust Amorim. I back him but I don't trust him. No question the players are dead food but we're not this bad and the results and performances are on Amorim. 50 million for a midfielder who can‘t receive the ball under pressure and pass is insane. Only Man United are doing these things. PSG are still laughing, 20 mil on top and they bought Kvara. Ugarte is just running around fouling people. At least play Casemiro or Eriksen next to him. You will always struggle to progress the ball with Ugarte and Bruno in midfield.
Also does the manager only know one system? You can‘t play the same every time, no manager does that, even Conte who played 3 at the back his whole career is changing things up at Napoli. Bear in mind being rigid before he always had the right profiles for his system, not like this manager.
Ugarte is playing 8 points every single game. Only player who gets the ball back and runs his guts out. He gets the ball back, passes it to a teamnate, and that teammate loses the ball 3 seconds later. Go watch some hockey mate, football is not for you.

Almost matching the transfer fee PSG was paying before, although he flopped there big time, is ridiculous business. Making runs, getting the ball back is well and good, but United‘s biggest problem in recent years is progressing the ball, therefore you need midfielders who are good at both.

Saeed great show and I’ve seen that guy on the top right once before but he didn’t speak much. When he does talk though, he speaks a lot of facts. He’s extremely unbiased and measured with his takes.

Problem is we can all see dalot is not doing well but amorim is in the technical area approving of it.
All 4 of the Sporting WBs are full out wingers. Of course they're going to be more attacking. You can't turn a fullback to a winger at 25.

i think the best recent back 3 system won the treble. but amorim isnt dping the basics of what pep did in that treble season. pep played a 3 2 2 3 on the ball and 442 put of possession. that hybrid nature is very important. if ypu play a back 3 in possession trying to defend in a back 3 will make you go back 5 and its hard to play like that. prp played Akanji Dias Ake back 3 where the wide CBs were top 2 in ball prpgression in europe that season, that's importsnt. and also the Rodri -Stones pivot should be the example for united where rodri and stones are both elote on the ball, press resistant but also tall and win duels, sadly ugarte and bruno are far away from that. the wide players city played as "wing backs/wingers" we grealish and bernardo. who are natural wingers that will always stay up but contribute defensively. but mainly the two inside 10s were gundogan and debruyne. both midfielders that read the game very qell and can create something from nothing. mainoo can play the gundogan role, but that debruyne role is still vacant. that player should be a transition demon as well. anyways Amorim is on feaud watch now, this team isnt as bad as this.

The Hojlund and Zirkzee debate makes no sense to me, both not good enough, it seems that whoever starts suffers massively, they both make decent impacts when off the bench and arguably Zirkzee seems to be a better off the bench player for us, if he plays Zirkzee he has to be in the ten for me.
