I have an auto Daenerys. got it a looong time ago though lol.
I believe she still does the normal "model" shots or portfolio shots. the ones she refuses to do now are the nude Game of thrones and that Esquire photoshoot. i think it was back in 2019/20 in a mag interview or that charity livestream she did where she openly talked about it. recalling that she was young and under pressure and had to be drunk to do that photoshoot and regrets it because it causes her stress. i've heard a few first hand accounts from some folks that she flat out refused them or didn't even acknowledge them when asking for an auto in person with those photos shitty situation but i think the professional & character shots are worth it instead.

Yeah... I don't know about autographs. I am a rare book collector and love me a signed first edition. The great thing about these kind of books is that they are rare by nature. By this I mean there is a finite supply. With autographs, the way I see it, anyone can print out an image on a printer and get it signed at whatever event or even bail up the celebrity (which is the most despicable act) and ask them to sign. Whilst the celebrity is alive the number of signatures could be seen as infinite. For a collectible to retain value there needs to be a market, there needs to be scarcity and there needs to be quality. My acid test is 100 years from now. Lord of the Rings is a masterpiece of film making. I believe in a hundred years it will still be highly regarded. As will the original Star Wars, Villeneuve"s Dune, Harry Potter etc etc. These films are enduring. However my point stands, how many signatures exist for these films? Given the modern era in which we live, where so much information is at our fingertips, the chances of the massive majority of these signatures ending up pinned to a teenagers wall and then discarded to the bin upon their acceptance to uni and moving out... I guess this means that of the autographs out there, with archival technology, most will survive the very long term.

Travolta goes for a huge profit if you can get him to sign a photo of him and his pilot making out

Al Pacino was once a 600 to 800$ autograph. He did the opposite. He became a much better signer later in life and his autograph can be had for 200 to 250 easy. The only things that dictate an autograph value is popularity of the person and the overall supply. Matt Damon is a pretty big name actor but He signs anything not nailed down to the floor....hence the reason you can get an authenticated 8x10 of Damon for 40 bucks. If Natalie Portman for whatever reason started signing like crazy the value would decrease and fast. Same goes for anyone

I’ve been wanting to invest in autographs. Where do you think are some of the best way to sell autos? Just eBay? & how do you check the values of autos?

Based on private signings, auction sales etc. For selling best places are Facebook groups and auctions

Probably a better longterm investment a few years ago when his auto price was cheap. On an MCU item he's a bit expensive at this point
