Hey, first time watcher here, great video, I'd like to know if you plan on making a build guide or some other currency making strats :) Im kind of new to the game and want to try a minion build
minion build wont be able to do this strat at least if its low budget, you either need insane high dmg to shred the rouges before they kill you or insane high hit pool to survive and kill them sooner or later, this strat is very end game and build reliant, also a huge tip for any new player when trying a strat is i recommend u first try one map with the strat if possible see if you like the strat and then fully commit to it and invest in a huge amount typically 40+ maps or so but thats the bare minimum, another tip is dont try to do insane strats like this one when ur broke go for self sufficient ones and slowly build your way up and most importantly is enjoy the game exile its not a race dont compare yourself and slowly learn :D
Nice video bro. I'm trying this with my cws chieftain rf dd build, but i find my single damage is not enough, so i'm finding other scarabs than gigantic exile scarab and how do you think of this changing scarabs? And also would it be worth to change map into toxic sewer? Thanks again bro.
I tried a lot of variations of scarabs. I think the ones I selected are the best by far. You lose a lot of exiles when you drop 1 or 2 gigantifications. You will have to find a way to pump damage up a bit. I do think toxic sewer is viable as a map though. I think you can run any map, tbh. The biggest thing is that you are getting the giant exiles to spawn in the rituals somewhat regularly; as long as that is happening, any map is ok. City Square/Glacier is just nice because there are multiple bosses for extra loot, but it's not that big of a deal. If your build performs 2x better on toxic sewer, then just run toxic sewer.

@@kyleevans1129 I’ve taken a lot of builds into it. Penance brand of dissipation trickster/inquisitor and the wretched defilers were my three favorite. A couple friend have done spark in toxic sewers and it seems decent. I didn’t play zizarians archmage ice nova build, but I looked at the POB and the numbers look insanely good, might be the best build on budget. Honestly I think any build works, just have to prioritize defenses a little more than normal. Cold damage crit is very helpful. Combination of high phys mitigation with either block or 75%+ evade. Spell suppress capped with a little max res or high max res with spell block.
@ sounds good! I’m thinking of pbod as it’s got nuts dmg and you can drop a lot of it for defense and rarity, clear is meh but prob fix it at high budget with explode wand
@ it’s an absolutely cracked build. If you back in videos I posted a penance brand trickster build that clears in like a minute and a half. Fubguns inquisitor is also insane. These were very high budget builds but mirror gear is usually like a 10-20% upgrade from self crafted stuff, you can still make a really solid build without a crazy amount invested. Inquisitor clears slightly faster with less defenses, trickster has less aoe but can take more of a hit. Zeeboub league starts pbod and is a really good resource for how to go from 0-100 with it.
@ yep I stole one of Zeeboubs pob and swapped it around. Lost like 50% of its dmg (maybe more) to make it a more reasonable budget (no 8link helm) and got the phys max hit up to 22k. I already have MB so it’s a nice bandaid to make it tankier. Gonna keep looking around at some other pobs to see what I like most. Thanks for the advice!
@@kyleevans1129 np. The trickster huge evasion/es chest is really really helpful to tank it up. Can make it with recombinators and there are a few guides on TH-cam. Still a little expensive but you can mirror tier for like 50-100 divines. I used on both my trickster and inquisitor and it was big. Also the jewel that gives 40% more phys as extra ele after you cast curse of elements and move speed cannot be reduced after you cast temporal chains, is a bad ass jewel for survivability and damage. I paid 400 divines on settlers for it. I saw it up for 2 divines on necro.
@@MstrPro37 Yeah I would say that 85% of of my loot has come from outside of the wildwood maps. The wisp scarab is just going crazy. First map is crazy lol, but I would say I see something high tier every 100-200 maps.
I believe the wisps modifiers are local to the monster that they're affecting, so that would make them multiplicative with area mods, and also player mods, so if you have like 500% rarity on mob from wisp and 200 on map and 200 on player it works out to like 2k% rarity. I'm not sure how it interacts with a monsters base item stats, since unique monsters already have an insane rarity modifier, it seems like it may be multiplicative? Or else you wouldn't notice it very much. The same applies to area quant / monster Quant mod. So wisps ends up being like a 3rd bucket multiplier on item drop stats
I believe they are local to the monster as well, I don't know if they scale with area mods though. Snoobae made an interesting observation when doing a t17 farm and rolling currency on the t17 map. If a standard 300% currency rolled map drops 60 chaos orbs, then when he hits a large wildwood, they should scale together and he should get something like 300 chaos orbs... just making numbers up a bit here. It wasn't the case that they scaled together like that though, he was still getting around the same amount of chaos orbs during a wildwood, he would just get more higher tier currency. This leads me to believe that the wisp is on it's own loot table, and the only thing that scales the blue wisp is purple and yellow wisp, and not the quant of map and altars. Also through my testing, while getting much more % quant per map on average in City Square from eldritch altars, I was dropping the same amount of currency between glacier and city square. I'm not really a mathematician, I still just click all the quant altars and roll 8 mod maps, I just dont know if wisp content works the way we are used to drops working in poe.
@JordynHhhh the secret to wisps that literally nobody knows, not even the top 1% is that blue wisps dont drop currency, they are a currency conversion, this means it scales with player rarity and the amount the monster drops. thats why rare mobs are so much better with wisps when normally magic mobs are how you scale quant based drops like currency. In other words, run maps with juicy rares and mf, strongboxes, abysses with the juicer scarab, breaches are ok. the main issue is that the wisp scarab is kinda not amazing so most rares dont have blue wisps, but ive done a juiced abyss map, gotten like 7k blue wisps and gotten 120 chaos 4 div ex etc from the map. this is also why purple wisps make blue wisps drop more. so currently this isnt really abusable but if they add some way to force wildwood next league this is how to abuse it. also yellow wisps are giga trash tbh dont worry about them also one final tip is that %currency on t17s does not scale blue wisps at all, so keep that in mind. That's a post I found on reddit a while back after snoobae did that testing, I was in the same camp as you but now I'm back to my original thinking
@@EvanWSH I ran about 2/3rds of a quad tab on a cold bv character that had 0 rarity. I was getting the same currency drops as my 300% rarity penance brand. I don't know if I'm convinced that, that is how it works.

I've been doing rogue exiles as a cheap scarab strat since week 2 of the league, at least 1000 t16 maps, i have never dropped a t0 or any kind of exotic currency... No more than i would do in any other strat i tried...Same strat was run by 5 of my friends, again nothing exotic... Now i'm running 300% rarity on my character, tried around 100 8-mod rogue exile maps, still nothing remotely close to a t0 or a mirror/lock... The only thing i'll drop every 15-20 maps is an ephemeral edge or a replica dragonfang lol 😅
The wisp scarab was really the key for me. Without that scarab I don’t think the farm would be good at all. Also 300% rarity is very good, but 100 maps with it, not so much. I don’t drop hardly any uniques when I’m not running with rarity. I ran about 1200 maps with 300%+ rarity to find 4 magebloods.
@@JordynHhhh that maybe it... I used a wisp for like 40 maps, but it was really expensive and the drops didn't really justify paying 45c per map for it... I guess it's a strat that doesn't pay off map to map....
