I just listened to your podcast yesterday and felt a very strange synchronicity: I'm a visual artist based in Paris and am currently going through a very big existencial crisis and art block like I never did before, and your podcast made me want to talk about it with you so bad, so it felt kind of comforting
From my experience let the flow flowing or not! Creativity is such a wild things for me.. When you waiting for it, itdon't come and when you are busy it's come. After having a huudge break of some years because fear, pression, stress, to not be at my place, i cherich every creative note when they come and don't do it my job. Keep living!

What I love about your videos is that I don’t come from them feeling I have all these things I need to 'buy' to be happy, but that I can find happiness in the things that are already all around me. I studied design and I totally relate to your struggles with creative blocks due to stress. A book that helped me SO much and one I hold closely is Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert. An excerpt from it that I love is “when courage dies, creativity dies with it.” Highly highly recommend it if you’re a creative! As a painter, I relate so much with stressing myself out with creative work. I haven't quite learned the "trust the process" method and once I see whatever I'm painting doesn't come out the way I pictured it in my head, I get so frustrated and end up never finishing it. I strive too much to get an excellent, show stopping, masterpiece piece that everyone loves and admire when really we should all just strive to get a piece we're proud of and happy with. It's really relaxing to see you in your own studio.

just listened to the podcast and gotta say you will always have a couch to crash on here in argentina. lately i've been feeling the same way about creativity and what can you, as an artist, bring to the table that is unique, tbh i don't have an answer but i feel like trying anything is enough and maybe you don't come up with something groundbreaking but is still your own and new to you. I'm a really impatient person and when I want things to change I want it now but I also know that change requires time. sometimes it gets to me and i feel stressed and frustrated but I know that is just my head messing with me so big breathe and keep fighting for change even if it takes some time

just listened to the podcast and gotta say you will always have a couch to crash on here in argentina. lately i've been feeling the same way about creativity and what can you, as an artist, bring to the table that is unique, tbh i don't have an answer but i feel like trying anything is enough and maybe you don't come up with something groundbreaking but is still your own and new to you. I'm a really impatient person and when I want things to change I want it now but I also know that change requires time. sometimes it gets to me and i feel stressed and frustrated but I know that is just my head messing with me so big breathe and keep fighting for change even if it takes some time
totally feel you! i think we'll get better and more understanding of ourselves with age too so that's something i always have to remember as an impatient person hehe but also to learn patience! send me a dm or message and I'll write down your name/location!!
