I have to say this because I don't think anyone has said it yet. Taeyong's not making random noises, he's helping the members count the beats. I know because I used to cheerdance and the choreographers would say in my case "tak tak tak" instead of 1 2 3 4 repeatedly. Besides it's more effective than just using numbers for the beats.
yess, when you get to a certain level the choreographers use sounds instead of the count to match the movement and the specific beat. For example 2:06 it´s "BOOOOM" when they´re going down in a smooth movement and "CHA" "IH" "HAH" are sharp ones :-))

I can see, Doyoung always bickering a lot with Taeyong n Haechan.. Like they have the best tom n Jerry personality.. But with both of them also doyoung can be so soft too.. If u understand what i do.. Like with Taeyong he can be a little brother n when with haechan.. His role of big brother plays..i adore them.. I just love how this video highlighted Taeyong’s qualities as a leader. The way he taught each member on how they can improve the dance moves shows that he doesn’t want anyone on his team to be left behind. He doesn’t use his position to boss the members around but instead, leads the group with a sense of humility and discipline.

For those of you who aren't aware: the original choreography designed for NCT127 didn't have the part where Mark launches off Taeyong to deliver a kick, which is pretty clear in the earlier versions they were practising in this video. In fact, it was Taeyong who suggested to the choreographer that they should include it- so it was his contribution to the choreography
