    That sofirn is much brighter than the other two.

    Wow, olight has finally made a light I'd consider buying. 2000K low end on CCT... Never would have thought olight would be a brand to ever have the warmest lantern available from factory

      Suspect Nitecore's version beat them to it tbh, looks like the same COB's!

      @@toasty4000000 looking at this video they look about the same, perhaps the Olight is slightly warmer but not much in it. I’m very happy with the temperature of the Nitecore, I only wish the low mode were a little lower!

    Great review! I have the LT1s and it's great for camping especially with the red light. I just wish it had a downward facing light to hang above us when we're playing spades under the canopy. That Olantern cool light seems like it'd be perfect for that, just wish it was more dimmable.

    • @FLASHAHOLIC_TV

      I can't remember mine having a red light

    • @onepunch7632
      @onepunch7632 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm not sure about the LT1 but the LT1s does. From off or on, triple tap the power button to turn on red. Once red is on, hold power button to increase brightness.

    Another 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ video review ..this looks a handy lantern for those late nights sitting in the garden when you don’t want the big flood lights on or a kids night light 👍🏻

    Nice quirky blues track. Enjoyed that ..... probably more than the lantern which I won't now be buying after seeing how the Sofirn trashes it. I have an Olantern Classic which I like but I don't seem to have a use for atm and it doesn't dim as much as I would like and it has all the artefacts as you mentioned otherwise good so keeping for any emergency. I am using some other cheaper lanterns that in a way work better than the Olantern. You can get a nice effective lantern for a little over a tenner! I've got a £11 Blukar just arrived and it's lower setting than the Olantern and seems about 300 lumens output on high and even has 4 power indicator leds to Olights very basic one! It's actually very nice apart from the cheap plastic feeling knob but it works fine. I put some window privacy plastic film that I had onto the glass of y Olantern Mini to cut down and diffuse the awful retina destroying super cold white glare and that helped a lot, so much so that I may now even prefer it over this Classic Mini? Also got a Klarus CL3 that seems practical if uninspiring. Liking the Blukar.

  • @JohnBaxendale

    Maybe I missed it in the video but, is the lowest setting on "Warm/COB" mode lower than the Nitecore? I have the Nitecore already and it's awesome, *but* I find the lowest level isn't quite low enough for using as a light in the tent at night, just a little lower would be perfect!
