been using dewalt lasers since the early 90s daily. And repositioning some time up to ten times a day. We run two rotary levels, with the self levelling servos. On high rise buildings. Mainly ceilings and walls but set floor levels too. But every day is a school day we never stop learning. Cheers from the north of England 🏴

Just got mine 3 weeks ago. eBay $379. The same day I located my robotoolz 5 line,. Purchased 08/15/03. Bought the DeWalt cause couldn't find r'toolz. New batteries, still worked.

What about outside during the day?
Hi can this laser be used for squaring or layout of a foundation. I would want to pick up a point on ground with the plumb line then have the square lines off it.

I just wanted to see how far back the vertical line goes on the ceiling.
It does go back beyond 180° by and extra 10° or so.

How much is that one??
i own the 5spot cross line and it cost 450$ and i dont feel its worth that much unless you are taking advantage of the 5 spot beams because other than that its just a cross line laser. i think the 3x360 at 450$ should be your choice because its more versatile and wrap a entire room. and both lasers are 450$ which i think the 5spot cross line should be around 349$ new but framers and carpenter just buy the 3x360 because youll find that the cross line laser will limit you to what you can do unless you use the 5 spot laser beams thaat the only way you can get your moneys worth outta this laser because just having the feauture doesnt mean anything . but with the 3x360 laser and entire crew can work off a 360 laser
do you have experience using both. I've read that the 360 lasers beam aren't as visible
@@dominiquebrown2890 yeah I still own both lasers ……but it depends on the brand of the laser…..a ryobi cross line laser not bright than a dewalt or Milwaukee 360 laser ……..but a high end cross line laser is brighter than a high end 360 laser…….. cross line lasers shoot a beam straight ahead without rotating…….but 360 lasers are 100% more versatile…and the difference between the two aren’t noticeable
