On the nerdy/Tesla fan boy side, Gotta correct you on the cybertruk. The cybertruk wasn't a fully first principles project, not like most other Tesla products or Elon company products in general. I think the story behind it's design is one of Elon's son's drawing it and inspiring him on how the future should look or something like that, but I'm not 100% on that. Regardless of it's conceptionin, in this case, one of the primary factors in its design was "making the future look like the future" in Elon's words, so it wasn't the usual form follows function first principles approach, whilst that of course remains true for much of the engineering of the truck, it is not the case for the form, a lot, if not all of the engineering had to be worked around a preset form. I believe Lars and vanz have spoken about this in interviews and podcasts, maybe Elon as well, don't fully recall. How throughout cybertruk development, the engineers had a lot of challenges figuring out ways to make the engineering work with the form, because Elon was hell bent on the truck looking the way it does from the start. So the cybertruk, at least when it comes to form, wasn't completely undertaken through the Tesla norm of first principles, form follows function approach, however through that a lot of new methods and innovations were made, like the exoskeleton design and 300series, spaceX, colled rolled steel air bending manufacturing (I love that). Sandy has also spoken about how it's not a 100% exoskeleton but I personally think that's just semantics. Anyway, obscure details but thought I may as well comment on it, love your vids, and the way you approach FSD online and in practice is honest and refreshing, great work 👍🏻 Side question, You have a timeline or plan on when your getting the new M3P since moving?
No I love this. Thanks. That’s fair, I’ve heard all of this too but my mind wasn’t really connecting the making the future look like the future with my experience at the unveil in 2019. This is one of the reasons I love the community haha. Thanks for taking the time to say this! As for my next Tesla it’s on hold after buying the house. I’ll have to see how the dice roll
Great conversation and that young chaps enthusiasm is priceless. Wish that stuff could be bottled as it would change the world. He will get his Tesla as long an no one breaks that excitement. Loved this video. Left me smiling such a joyous watch when there is soooo soooo much doom and gloom in this world . Thank you Kaz for sharing.
Living in Florida, heat pumps aren't a big deal, but in Colorado, where I live, it was a 18:40 must! You really need to look at the HW changes over the years before buying a used Tesla, to make sure you get everything important to you. E.g, If you really want the best FSD, you may want to get HW4! OTOH, you can't wait until the perfect ztesla is available, because that will always be in the future.
It's a breath of fresh air to find someone who you don't know who loves Tesla as much as me! You don't get that often... i would definitely also love to have a Tesla one day!
The Cyber truck that was broken on youtube was dropped Twice on the back end, Once onto a concrete pipe, then onto a concrete block (which the pipe was on) after this the guy tried to pull the ford (which was stuck on the pipes) backwards with full force, Also note that the guy making the video was sponsored by Ford. There are set up videos, and true testing videos, that was a set up.
He reminded me of the JerryRig guy who said that Tesla has "only lvl2 ADAS which everyone else has too" and a few days later comes out with a Ford sponsored video too 😂
Just to add up bro, i’ve gotten approved for 2023 model 3 for 26k with 35k miles. This shit looks nice only had it for 1 months and a week. I drive uber 8-12 hours. I charge twice about 25-30 dollars combined a day. Man i love the color and i can’t wait to start modifying it. I want less aggressive and subtle. Tesla is beautiful!
The cyber truck dropped twice the back bumper onto cement beam... When it came off of the giant cement pipes, it landed once on one of the cement pipes, and then it landed from a 4 foot drop onto the cement beam. And that's what broke the casting. Also, whistling diesel's video proved that the cybertruck beat the Ford on every single one period it won driving off of the flatbed. Then it won driving across the cement pipes. Then it won in the race, then it won in the C4 explosions, it won driving up the hill, the steep incline the cybertruck actually won every single contest that he put it through
I have a Cybertruck and was considering doing Uber in it. Is there any legality or policy with Uber that prevents filming passengers? I am interested in posting reactions on TH-cam like you do. Just curious if you’ve ran into any problems.
@@db3k Recorded vocal consent is good to keep in a folder for people who don’t mind being fully featured. This means not blurred out. By default if that conversation isn’t had I blur faces and make sure no names are in the videos. At that point there’s no privacy violations. An extra measure is don’t mention the company names in your thumbnails or titles. Don’t affiliate with them and they won’t have any reason to give you trouble. I just say rideshare or customer or passenger. I don’t say the company names.
Sure. Nothing too crazy. I typically run average mode with auto speed on for the city streets but before you set to auto I’d go in and set your highway preference. I have my set to go 10% over but 10-15% should all be good to go. I think if you set auto speed the ability to adjust the highway stuff disappears. That’s pretty much it though. I run my driving dynamics in chill mode mostly to preserve my tires and to bring a smoother customer experience because most aren’t used to the full power of a Tesla lol.
Give us the details on the battery replacement was it covered under warranty? If not how much did it cost you to replace the battery I'm assuming it's a refurbished battery?
?Question?...Can an Uber or Lyft driver accept rides in other states? I would like to do road trips and contemplate lingering in various places. While there Im wondering if I could earn some money accepting rides?

Dang good catch. They keep bringing referrals back and taking it away so I forget but referral link is in my description hahah.
Why no seat belt use for rear passenger?
I want a used model y from tesla only. Which model year is the most reliable?
2022 and on you’ll be set! 2020-2021 were what I’d call the teething phase. That’s our Y haha
