The only game that had this excuse was Auto Modellista in 2003. That game let you customize your garage and no game has done that since, which is a huge bummer. That was really an amazing feature.

F1 2022 looks like F1 2021 with an update. I'm not sold on the game plus with EA not doing sales in Russia and F1 being against Russia yet welcomes China well I'm not interested. When the game comes out for 40 percent off then maybe but until then I'm not playing.
the apartment customization and F1 life wouldn't have been an issue with the playerbase if EA would allow codies the time to fix the same game breaking bugs that have been in all the F1 games since 2019... especially since the introduction of MyTeam where by the time youre half way through the second season you cant use any other tire compounds other than medium or hards because the car is so fast that the softs overheat in two laps, the cheating AI who doesn't get affected by tire carcass temps & their cheating ERS fucking bullshit, inconsistent and varying AI difficulty that changes circuit to circuit, you the player being slower in a straight line than the AI. nah why fucking bother fixing these glaring issues when we took away classic cars only to give us a bunch of stupid ass supercars that literally nobody cares about or ever wanted and some stupid home customization so your online league buddies think your cool! ouu and now you'll have brand names to dress your character up in. here we are wanting a game thats got simulator elements to it but is much more laid back than a full blown sim so we can semi-sorta live out our dreams of being on the grid & yet we get this stupid shit with the same understeery driving model as always, I can only hope this kills Codemasters and their F1 series so that someone else can get a shot at making a decent F1 game without all the stupidity we've been seeing in the franchise over the last couple years, funniest part of it all is that neither EA nor Codies has ever seemed to be able to wrap their braindead skulls around the fact that all these little changes wouldn't really piss people off if the base game and driving wasn't absolute garbage. after 150 or so hours in F1 2021 I decided I wasn't going to buy another Codies F1 game again which is odd because in my first 10 or so hours of playing 2021 I thought it was easily one of if not the best Codies F1 title made after all their changes to the driving model and general gameplay improvements, after those initial 10 hours though my opinion really began to sour.
