Maybe it's just recency bias because I've had RUN on repeat for a while but this song sounds a lot like "Flames" especially with the chorus melody. It's like a sequel or successor to Flames. Except lyrically this is much more dark and unhinged. Flames was more hopeful and living through struggle, but still staying on top and being in "control". So now "Uncontrolled" feels like that resilience and hopefulness ripped away and leaving the raw pain behind exposed.
Great duo of songs and concepts. Flames was a candle. Uncontrolled is a wildfire.
