Stan, you are working your jobs and now the chateau renovations, please take care of yourself and get rest when your body needs some down time. The mystery of what’s behind the wall is very intriguing and I would say necessary to remove dampness and old pipes and electrical wires. I watch another chateau renovation called Escape to the Dream and while they renovated wood paneled bedrooms, they removed all of the panels, repaired them, repaired the walls behind the panels but what I thought was great was they insulated the back of each panel with a hard insulation with foil on one side. They glued it to the panels, and reinstalled them. With new double glazed windows and the added insulation, the rooms don’t have drafts anymore. Just thought I would mention this so you can save your beautiful oak paneled room. ❤

Stan's use of the term prompted me to check the difference between a tempest, a gale, a storm, etc. Beyond the elements (wind only versus wind plus rain), it also seems the different terms are more widely used in maritime weather since the differences at sea can be life and death. Interesting!
Great video, I am very happy that you both are sharing this Mansion with us every step of the way. Stan please take care of yourself, Sadie you do the same, take a day off when you need to because this Mansion is going to take you both awhile and there is no need to neglect your health.
Stan and Sadie, when someone starts a huge project with many things that need to be replaced and repaired and cleaned you can be uncertain of a direction or a startimg point. The list that you shared with is today seems to have both a starting point and a direction! Very good! I have followed Billy and Michael and Sadie since they started and I am eagerly waiting for their next chapter! This new project that the two of you have started promises to be exciting and very interesting! We will continue to watch your progress and you both must continue to be careful with both the project and yourselves!
I am a.most afraid to see what’s behind that wall.😮. Maybe a treasure map in the bottle or a small time capsule. . You need to stop for abit and stretch. You are cramping your muscles by working in a confined space with a heavy mallet 😮the house of many walls. There’s got to be something else behind them. Well folk The Saga continues……. Thanks Sadie and Stan for the hunt💕🇨🇦☺️
A drill and boroscope or endocope will save you time and energy in seeing into voids, also the damage is kept to a minimum. It should save Stan some hammering at the least, I feel as you get on something like that could come in very handy, especially with pipes. A thermal camera would also come in clutch, finding thinner walls, damp and resistance and composition of walls. Hope this helps. Thanks for these videos I'm loving this restoration.
I pray that nothing emerges from those holes you have made!! So many mysteries in that chateau!!! Thank you for another great video! God bless Sadie and Stan! Big hugs!!
This mystery is intriguing, at least you have not found any sacrifical bodies, thank goodness. Stan, please try to get some rest, a tired body (no matter how fit and strong) must replenish.
You might consider having penetrating ground survey Done around the property to see if older structures foundations are there. It's looking like a much older structure was there.
If you're feeling pain, Stan your body is telling you to take a break. I would also encourage you to wear a mask, particularly when you are demolishing and in rooms where there is mold. I learned that the hard way.
Take care of yourself, Stan between working a full-time job and demolition at the Château. This can take a major toll on your health. Appreciate both of your hard work for the videos. Take care of yourselves.
When Stan said he smelled a strong odor of moisture, I had a vision of him drilling into a giant cistern or a dam holding back an underground river. I was braced for a tidal wave of water! 🌊🌊🌊🤣
Awesome work people! This place will be so amazing as you fix it up and give it the glow up it deserves. So excited to see the progress and the mysteries as you progress. Take care and stay fabulous ❤
Oh gosh, I am worried about how much Stan is doing. You are a strong man, but don't wear yourself out. Slow and steady will get you there in the end. There is no rush - please listen to your body and give it a rest.
I have a 120+ year old farm house. What Stan just demolished looks like the crawlspace under the front of my house in my cellar. In the middle is a cistern. There is probably one in the Chateau basement somewhere.
My friend, where is your eye protection ? One little stone or plaster chip can blind you so easily. I nearly lost an eye, because of no protection, when breaking down an old wall. I was very lucky. Had to wear an eye patch for week till the eye healed. Protective glasses are not that expensive. Please look after your eyes. Much Love to you both from Australia xx
I like that idea, something for the kitchen "made by Stan"! I feel your pain stan, swinging motions put a lot of torque on your back and the lats ache trying to protect your spine, take some time to rest/restore. Seems there should be some type of crawl space access to that area since there are so many pipes under the salon floor that would need to be maintained. Very Odd, no trap door in floor above for access? The stuff you found under the stairs is really strange, considering the plastic bottle - very very strange. Hahaha.. I see the comments about Yannis.. just lean the sledge and pry bar up against the wall, tell him about the crawl space and send him down to look... he will have that wall down for you, he won't be able to resist lol (he might even offer to crawl through the hole for you like he did at the Convent in the unknown drainage/vents and film the area for any other access).

Big hugs!!
Another find Stan I daresay you will find much more Thanks for sharing Sadie and Stan
Yes, I would love to see you create some iron implements for that fireplace and maybe perhaps a candelabra for the table !
The Mucky Mansion gets more interesting with each episode...love the channel!!! 😊👍
Bring Time Team over!
If you're feeling pain, Stan your body is telling you to take a break. I would also encourage you to wear a mask, particularly when you are demolishing and in rooms where there is mold. I learned that the hard way.
I'm really enjoying your explorations of this amazing chateau! thanks for bringing us along on the adventures!
Maybe Michael will do a drawing of his vision of the completed Mucky mansion... he's so talented
Love these videos you are both opening up the history of the chateau so exciting!
Sadie your look of love at Stan is so sweet! ❤️
I agree ❤
Tu as toute mon admiration Stan.
Quelle générosité !
Je te souhaite le meilleur dans cette aventure.
Take care of yourself, Stan between working a full-time job and demolition at the Château. This can take a major toll on your health. Appreciate both of your hard work for the videos. Take care of yourselves.
I was so excited to see that this video was a long one!! Love this channel so much!! Subscribe people. It doesn’t cost you anything.
Me too.
When Stan said he smelled a strong odor of moisture, I had a vision of him drilling into a giant cistern or a dam holding back an underground river. I was braced for a tidal wave of water! 🌊🌊🌊🤣
I was worried about that too!
Suggestion: maybe have a big floor plan and point out where you are working each day. I knew that would be helpful and interesting to many people
That is a good idea.
@DearModern could help out with that, and 3D drawings; wouldn't that be cool.
I think Stan's drawing the other day of the ground floor plan was just perfect. No need to contract out of house.
Yes very interesting! ✌️😊
That was truly, fun to watch can't wait for you to bust down another wall😂
This has been my favorite episode yet. Stan is amazing. A biker, an engineer and now an archeologist.
I love the list’s and seeing the progress 😊 great work Stan 👍
Awesome work people! This place will be so amazing as you fix it up and give it the glow up it deserves. So excited to see the progress and the mysteries as you progress. Take care and stay fabulous ❤
It's interesting uncovering hidden rooms like a chateau-castle jigsaw puzzle.
Bless poor Stan’s back and abs. That’s a lot of sledgehammering! Someone get that man some rest.
Sure was a wonderful adventure...i loved every minute. So much better with that concrete wall gone. Love Stans stories. Love from NZ
I am enjoying your videos. Thank you for posting them for us.
Намахался молотом сегодня. Классное интересное видео. Спасибо!
Thanks Stan & Sadie take care love the uncovering of the Mucky Mansion ❤️❤️❤️
Oh my! All I can think is how much Yanis would love to be in it with you.
I was thinking the very same thing that they needed to bring in Yanis the expert demolisher.
So exciting, feels like you are onto the next phase. Awsume intro Sadie, with you lighting the fire. Awsume Stan.
