My Waitley serves the heavy hitter hammer drill (999) extremely well! Even locked up its chuck with it due to excessive torque coming out of the battery! Not to mention the hammer function as well. I was trying to dig a hole in my backyard with an auger bit.
Dunno, I'm not a professional in the trades but purchases a bit higher grade tools for me due to the false belief that says "At least I need to have a good tool to blame myself when it all goes south.'
At least, they are serving me without problem way more than 90 days so far, not only for drills and saws but also outdoor power tools, chainsaw, pruning pole chain saw, trimmer, etc. They are B+D and Ryobi (with adapters.) Those Waitleys are still better performing than their 'included' authentic batteries. =D

I bought 4 Waitley's in the Makita platform August of last year with the intent of running them in my outdoor power equipment (OPE). Sadly the Waitley's have an only slightly larger profile and won't fit my chain saw at all, and require modifications to the string trimmer piwerhead that I am just not willing to perform. So. What to do?
I have some off-brand auxiliary lights that use the Makita platform. Perfect, I thought. Well, they were. They perfectly mimicked the life and performance of the branded Makita 5ah batteries. While the Waitley's were 6ah...for the price, I'll cut them some slack.
I recently decided to upgrade my RV lighting to LED. Bought a four pack of 1700 lumen overhead lights. Installed two. Thought to myself 'hmm, what to do now?' Got this harebrained idea to buy a power source clip and use the Waitley's to power the RV lights. The power source clips just clip onto the battery like a normal tool install. The RV lights are rated for use with 12-24VDC. To my utter amazement it works like a dream. So, not only do I have two auxiliary lights for the RV, I also have work lights that are better and brighter than any if the four I have tried on Amazon for my battery platform. Try installing laminated hardwood flooring in a new construction house...in a closet... with no lights. Not anymore😅.

Good deal! We have been thoroughly impressed with the Waitley batteries, especially for the price!
