Man Tarkov be livin rent free so hard in everbody’s heads. The game doesn’t have to be a TaRkOv KiLleR. It can be its own, separate, completely different entity.
I swear. Putting "tarkov killer" on this game is unfair. And setting it up for failure. They have and always will have completely different combat loops. You won't be able to get most of tarkov experiences from grayzone and won't be able to get most grayzone experiences from tarkov. I'm excited for Grayzone but am trying to keep it in check because of all the failures.

Game looks good for an Alpha. Lot’s of foliage with decent performance. Traders lookin good. Hope AI and patrols populate the game. Really Hope for Day night cycles and NVGs.

Day night cycles are coming to the game, they've already showed off features for cutting power/lights to buildings(obviously meaning this will be a feature for night time)

I love the faction system. Makes people fight together as they learn the game. I met so many chill dudes that helped me guiding me to the task locations and I helped other noobs on my 2nd day playing :) It was great.
Hutch is right - as you unlock LZs, you travel towards other towns where other factions task and then you can kill anything that isn't blue on your map.
Man i can not wait to try this game.

24:05 The grid coordinates mean it's somehwere in the entire grid square boys. The grids are 6 numbers, not 8. So when you have a grid, it's somewhere in the whole grid :)

I think the lack of hyper-hyper-realistic shooting makes it easier on the nerves for slightly more casual level players.

Just don’t know if it’s fun enough to keep you entertained for more than a week or two… hope they add more features and more likelihood of coming across other enemy players. If the PVP is good I can see it sticking around for a long time.

What graphics card do you use?
The game is simply amazing. I've never played anything like it. being in a live fob seeing other live players in and out on mission talking with them having fun This game is an absolute blast. If you're not a streamer this is the game for you, if you are not unemployed this is the game for you. User friendly you can jump in and go play the game at your pace. way better than Tarkov and I will absolutely never go back to that game again

How the shooting feels?
Ghost recon online. Visuals look great. Nothing else. Inventory is insane to navigate. So much open space with nothing happening. Going to be a sniper paradise. This game needs a ton of development still to even remotely be interesting to someone who enjoys PvP more than PvE.

I was thinking that too but for it to be in pre-alpha state and have issues like that is a good sign to me. Adding loot seems like something hard to mess up and that’s easily implemented later. Seeing them focus on performance first sounds like they’ve got their priorities right to me

"OMG TARKOV WILL DIE" no it won't, it's not trying to copy tarkov in a whole, only certain things. I believe it's trying to be it's own thing and you might not instantly like this game if you like Tarkov becuase it will be different.
The devs have said that outside of certain pvp area's, PVP will be limited. Be on your guard as there can be enemies but most of the time it will be AI. I believe it's because of the dropzones and them being pretty far out from any enemy dropzones. So if you want to do PVP in these area's close to one teams base you'll have to walk pretty far. I guess using the dropzones is how they create PVP and PVE heavy area's.This is not Tarkov 2.0, hell Tarkov 1.0 isn't even out and this game is trying to do it's own thing, not being a copy of Tarkov. You want heavy PVP, go play tarkov. You want 1 big map and more PVE then, judging from what the devs have said, this will be your game. As a PVE enjoyer I'll say that I'm happy with a game like this that won't go full PVP as the PVP lovers already have a great game to play...

Call me pessimistic but I doubt it'll make a difference. If the game becomes popular enough, cheat providers have a much higher monetary incentive to beat the anti cheat than the developers have to improve their anti cheat. Not a single FPS game is hack proof. ESP & Aimbot are impossible to prevent with anti cheat.

A process' memory can't be protected from external reads when you have a memory scanner with admin privileges, that's actually how Cheat Engine works. Unless you're talking about kernel level anti cheat (which isn't fool proof and tbh giving kernel access to closed source software is completely insane) anti cheat has no way to detect that the game's memory is being accessed by another process. I never said it's impossible to detect cheats. Anti cheat can detects processes it knows to be cheats which is why the lesser known cheats can take months or even years to get hit with a ban wave, while freely available public software like Cheat Engine will get you instantly banned.
If there was a way to write "good" anti cheat that somehow magically detects when a cheat is reading memory why the hell would "bad" anti cheat even exist? Why would esport titles like CS be so filled with cheaters when Valve would obviously have the brains to figure out how to prevent cheats? Surely the algorithms would be public information by now and cheating wouldn't be a million dollar business.
By the way you don't even need to read RAM for ESP. There's this little thing called an ethernet port (or wifi card) on your computer. You can run Wireshark and see the data being sent and received while playing Tarkov without getting banned. That data contains, among other information, the position of players, where they're looking, what gun they're holding, etc. Even if it's encrypted your computer has to decrypt it to use it which means the decryption key is available to you. If the game can use it, you can use it.
In other words any cheat programmer worth his salt will be able to use network traffic in a cheat. Let me re-iterate what I said: ESP & Aimbot are impossible to PREVENT with anti cheat. All you can hope to accomplish with anti cheat is to catch people using cheats. You'll never prevent cheats from working in the first place. The fact that it's "constant rats race between cheats and anti cheats" just means whoever has the biggest money incentive will always win this race in the long run.

Game memory is completely unaffected by this, it edited the packets being sent over the network.
That's what I mean by impossible to PREVENT. Anti cheat can catch cheaters, it can't prevent them from cheating in the first place. You will always encounter cheaters in FPS games. The "rats race" of cheat VS anti cheat will always be won by cheats because they can charge a monthly sub fee, they don't offer refunds if you get caught and the amount of work needed to get detected cheats working again is laughable. Detected cheats can be back in action within a few days or weeks. Meanwhile ban waves are happening every few months at best.

The struggle with understanding basic map. Game looks alright, it offers what has been already done in games for a while but in a fresh way and watching a big youtuber who isn't understanding basics of game just by looking at it was painful to watch, but I guess I watched in on a wrong channel - lack of delivery.
