3:03 is not perfectly correct. Cassandra doesn't have "Multiple master nodes", Cassandra has no master nodes as it's masterless. Besides that, great comparison!
In the comparison with sql you stated, that mongodb is horizontally scalable while sql databases aren't. That's just not true. If you see master-slave model as a horizontally scalable then a lot of sql databases are too, because they use the same model (postgres for instance).
Cassandra is not columnar, it is column family, but it's NOT column-oriented, Cassandra organizes data by rows. Also columnar dbs can guarantee faster data retrieval in some cases, but in some cases it is not true. Way too many inaccuracies
What's your vision of Cassandra and MongoDB? Which one would you choose and why? 😏

2:17 is wrong. MongoDB is actually ACID-compliant by default. You can use MongoDB in a BASE-compliant way, but it requires configuration.

Great video! But MongoDB 4.4 is ACID complaint :-)
Only on the same document, which is useless imho
@@altairbueno5637 It is multi-doc ACID compliant
cassandra 5...
@@altairbueno5637it’s also multi-doc acid compliant
Mongodb website says it is acid since version 4.0 in 2018. Yes or no acid?
Great Video man.......i was not sure whether I can understand in just 5 minutes, but boom..you make it
It's 2023, &high time to make a python implementation version of it !
Thank you....
Really effective and helpful
Great start for decision making.
This video is concise but informative!
Extremely informative. Thank you!
So Cassandra is better for Facebook, Reddit, and Twitter. MongoDB for websites without comments.
Why or how you reach this conclusion?
@user-kh9ee4oo7p Research Cassandra and why it is optimized for a global reach.

Great content!!!
Thanks. Short and excellent explanation.
thank you!
man this was a masterpiece ❤
