The nostalgia! I remember watching it when it aired on Noggin, but it would come on at like 5:45am or something. I literally used to tell my mother “can you wake me up early so I can watch ‘Bing and Bong’” I didn’t know the actual name was “Tiny Planets” until I googled “Bing and Bong” which led me to this video. I’m glad I found this video and comment section. Feels good to know others actually watched and enjoyed this show too!

Hey Finn, I've got several obscure shows you've probably never herd of.
Mummy Nanny, The Fairy Tale Police Department, Capertown Cops (basically nothing but slap stick here), and Moville Mysteries.
But one I thing you'd be most interested in would be the Kleo the Misfit Unicorn, a show about a yellow unicorn born with wings (which would technically make her an alicorn) who helps beings who wind up in her home of misfit land.

Ohhhh I am glad that I found a video talking about such an underrated children's cartoon I grew up with! I felt like it was very innovative even for its time; to be teaching children with little to no dialogue. Kinda reminds me of Mr. Bean in that sense; to portray topics and skits with actions and visuals only. Also that opening brings me chills of nostalgia.
Also I feel like I grew up with a version of the show where Haley only narrates during the opening; or maybe I tuned her out during the actual show lol

Edit: I am SO sorry for this long comment, I just remember this show so much and wanted to talk about it for a bit
Oh my sweet lord I remember this show
I used to watch it as a child and I really enjoyed it...even if bong looked like it wanted to kill me sometimes.
Back when I was around 8 or 9, I used to have a DVD of a few episodes with this show on it and the only times I binge watched it is when it was on my portable DVD player during my occasional holiday trips back to my hometown...It had the narration but it never bugged me that much.
In my opinion, I agree with the animation being very dated compared to today's standards but I'm actually a massive sucker for Late 1990's to Early 2000's animation so it doesn't really bug me that much.
Looking back at this show now, the only nitpick I have is the narration. It kinda annoys me now. It does make me think about animating something from the late 90's to early 2000's though.
I'm kinda glad that other people remember this show though. At least I'm not the only one. I never knew about the pilot episode though... to be honest, I kinda wish it stayed that way

Here's a suggestion for you if you can find anything about it: Van-Pires. It was an CGI/live action hybrid show from about 1997. Apparently, it was #1 in its timeslot, but it only lasted one 13 episode season. I can't find much more about it myself; maybe you might have better luck? I can't want to see what other shows you bring back from the cobweb covered corners of our minds.

i came back to this because the theme song was still in my head after all those years. i think the most important part of how it teaches is that it shows failure. the solution never happens on the first try. you see the two learn from their mistakes and go again. bing tried to stop himself from sliding on the floor with glue? well, it just made him fall over and get stuck. it took glue and a carpet to stop him from sliding.

Hey this is the best space show ever, and for you next episodes i highly recommend the upside down show, captain flamingo, chop socky chooks, atomic Betty, the secret show and Frankenstein’s cat 🐈.

I could name a few cartoons that a lot of people have forgotten, but since they come form the UK, I could say my entire country has a bunch of cartoons that no one outside the UK has heard of.
This show... IS from the UK?! Well... Would you like some other UK shows Finny?
