Beautiful little doc. I was born In Honduras and went back when I was very young and visited the ruins of Copan but was too young to really grasp its importance and significance tomy culture. Maybe one day soon I can go back. I'd love to experience it all now as an adult
You should check it out if you get a chance. I don't know when you went, but they were discovering a new temple under the temples in the 90's Called Rosalila, as I remember. They made a full scale replica in full color. A lot more is known today than in the past. The hieroglyphics were deciphered, so they understand a lot of what was written on the sculptures.

Hopefully you make it out there, it's very beautiful and eerily peaceful. I went when I was 11 but at that age I didn't appreciate it as much as I do now
