Masterful conducting! † Dr. Merrin Guice Gill and Dr. Merrin Guice Gill are my two favourite choral conductors. They serve the Lord with great skill ! †
No kidding, about the harmonies. There are a couple of places where the basses are simultaneously seconds with the tenors below them and the sopranos above them.
The Bethel College Choir performed this in the early 1960s under the direction of Robert Berglund, and was far superior in every way to this video. It may be still available, originally released on Christian Dynamics label.
Get rid of the vibrato, it ruins the overtones. The whole point of this piece is to listen to the magic of the room singing with you. Vibrato kills that

That was beautiful. Amazing job Dr. Merrin Guice Gill.
this is my favorite choir piece.
Lovely!
Beautiful and majestic ♥
Dave Thomas was our choir director in 1964 and we did this song. Very difficult to hold those harmonies.

This was a competition piece for my high school choir. I've always said particular chords sound like a traffic jam, but put together it's marvelous!
Fantastic. And sung at a pace that is actually singable for normal humans.
Sounds just like heaven
That bass line goes fuckin crazy ayyo
That was heavenly
So very beautiful!
Wonderful.
This lovely song is based on Psalm 104:27.
ps145:15,16 in Kin James Version, which is traditionally used in liturgy, see e.g. Oculi Omnium, Aller augen warten auf dich

Very close harmony and fun and difficult to sing!!

All that swaying around is very distracting ...
Ikr!
Bruh it's a song, if it distracts you, close your eyes
They have to figure out a way to stay alive while holding their breaths
We're all so critical, aren't we!? 😆 I think they're just alive with the Spirit.
