"Reason" is the fan-song for Dreamcatcher's 6th anniversary. I can't even begin to describe how proud I am of them. They're flexing their rock and vocal muscles, while all three rappers make an appearance. InSomnia might be lifting them up, but they should know, they are also carrying us. Happy 6th anniversary, Dreamcatcher! Can you imagine this song live? With us InSomnia going Whoooo-whoooaaa and them singing over it? 😊 I wouldn't be surprised if the animations were done by a fan, I seem to recognize the style. Whoever did them, they did a great job. I see the book from the Nightmare arc, the mask from Scream, the gun from R.o.S.E Blue, the gagged bust from Boca, the cup from Odd Eye, the hand through the mirror from Good Night and the clock from Piri. Musically, I am in heaven. I'm a metalhead and I love the song. AND THAT RIFF! 🤘🎸 Obviously the song is an absolute anthem! The Korean in the beginning of the Demian MV means "Stay forever my Demian". The book Demian by German author Hermann Hesse is about Emil Sinclair, who is a young boy raised in a middle class home, amidst what is described as a "Scheinwelt" (a play on words meaning "world of light" as well as "world of illusion"), so the entire existence can be summarised as a struggle between two worlds: the show world of illusion and the real world, the world of spiritual truth. Accompanied and prompted by his mysterious classmate and friend "Max Demian", he detaches from and revolts against the superficial ideals of the world of appearances and eventually awakens into a realization of self. It is about the duality of the world, and Dreamcatcher know quite a bit about duality. 😉 I believe that is also why they cover half of their face in the choreo. The choreo was done by SuA, and she did a brilliant job! Musically I really enjoy Demian, it has some elements of ProgRock in it, which is one of my beloved genres of music.

@@maesreacts_Yup I saw today’s Dreamcatcher video (HanDong being Dreamcatcher’s funniest member which also I’m excited to see you dive into more of the members personalities now!) and around the 24:05 of today’s video you talked about how you thought the group was when she wasn’t there and this was kinda the reason why I recommended these 2 videos because it’ll give you some insight to how the Dreamcatcher members were when HanDong was gone, also the reason why she went on the Chinese survival show, how much the members missed her, and how excited they were when she was finally coming back to Korea.
Propose, is that song for me it's my favorite in their entire discography, not just b-side. It also has choreo, there is a special clip of it from their showcase on their official youtube channel. Demian's choreography was done by SuA like Red Sun was. Reason was great for their 6th anniversary song, emotional roller-coaster; Siyeon, Yoohyeon, JiU and SuA all belting and Dami, SuA and Gahyeon all coming to rap as well. It was amazing to see it live in Chicago during their Reason:Makes Tour in the US. Their 7th anniversary is right around the corner, January 13th, 2024. They have concert planned for it in Seoul, last I saw they might be getting a live stream setup for it.
I feel like you'll always remember your first Dreamcatcher song, or the one that really made you an InSomnia. Red Sun was the first song I heard from DeuKae, first video I watched and Dystopia ToL was the first album I bought (digital 😢) it will always be super important to me. Aside from that Bon Voyage is my fav TT and I remember when it came out I was unusually emotional about it, half crying, half headbanging during the first listen!😂😂🤣🤣 I stopped halfway through to write this comment so I'll get back into it but I've enjoyed watching you discover them!

Great reaction. It's been fun following your DC journey. As for the dance videos marathon, personally, I'm not a fan of any marathon, really. It always ends up not giving each one the attention it deserves. If you don't want to do separate videos, maybe combine a dance video with a variety video, special clip, relay dance, live performance, etc. It will help keep your (and our) attention.
I understand your point, but in my opinion It's actually impossible to keep up with any kpop group content if you're going to make a different reaction video to every single content they have. Personally, I have no problem with long videos, so marathons seems like a valid option. But yeah, if it's going to be too rushed it's better to separate in more parts. After all, the point of a reaction is to give your impressions and opinions
I always try to take my time to appreciate everything I watch in my long videos, I still don’t really know how I’ll do all that content but I know it’s not gonna be one at a time because there is sooooo much that I want to watch❤️
