Today is travel day!
We are going back to Walt Disney World but before we get there, we are going on a Disney Cruise on the Disney Wish for 4 nights for a Very Merry Christmas Cruise.
We travelled to Manchester Airport the night before we flew and stayed in the Hilton Doubletree at the airport. We then flew from Terminal 2 on the Sunday from Manchester airport to Orlando International airport.
We went Premium Economy with Virgin Atlantic and has a very smooth flight, we were in seats 22H&K on champagne Belle. I had to visit the Disney Store in MCO airport to see all the new DIsney Parks and Christmas goodies. They had a huge Christmas tree there too! I didnt buy any Disney merch just yet!
One night in the Gateway Village Hampton Suites by Hilton honours before we will take the Disney Cruise shuttle to Port Canaveral.
We will be staying in POP Century when we get back to Walt Disney World.

Outbound travel day is always the best and most exciting day 🥹 And the “will it clear required luggage weight” game is one of my favorites to play! Haha I think Katie and I agree that we really like the idea of Twilight check-in, but we wouldn’t be able to shake the fear of our bags being lost before load-up 👀 having said that, it looks like it saved you a good deal of time the following morning. Dinner at the Hilton restaurant looked….AMAZING. I feel like our airport Hilton properties in the US could learn a thing or two from yours in the UK. And, for that matter, I think United can learn a thing or two from Virgin as far as airlines go! 😂 Glad you had a safe flight with all the bells and whistles - the little salt and pepper shakers were a nice touch. Can’t wait to see your adventures from the parks and the Disney Wish! ✨
Exciting but also ccan be stressful! Haha My goodness the worry we had with that one case, when we weighed it at home it said it was 22.7ish so I wonder if their scales add a little on!!

Amazing travel day. Yes, I would definitely book the cruise direct, haven't done one yet but it is on my list. For our last few holidays, I always book accommodation directly with Disney and flights separately.

Just curious what time do you have to be back over at the airport for dcl transport check in? What time did your bus leave from MCO?
We are doing twilight check in for the first time this week. Did you have to take your hand luggage as well as your checked luggage?
We did take ours with us as we thought they would want to see it, but the lady checking us in didnt even ask how much hand luggage we had - I would say to take it to be safe though if you can, as when we were coming back they did want to see all our hand luggage! Maybe it depends who you have, but have an amazing trip! ^_^
What time did you have to be back at the hotel to be at the dcl transport spot to go to port Canaveral?
We got to the Airport at 9am and the DCL transport left at 10:20am to the port :)
How was Hampton's shuttle we are doing what you did here in a few weeks
It was so efficient! Door to door and they knew where we needed to go too!
