I can listen to this and not want to cry...Cry because the singer I do adored in my youth is so beyond a far cry from who he once was, and it’s not only because of the vocals. Listening to this I’m taken back to 1992...my senior year, the people I used to know, and the memories of that time. It makes me feel bittersweet but in a good way. Give this guy a break!

Todd LaTorre...Great vocalist. He does a great cover of this song that Tate turned into a classic. LaTorre live is amazing to hear. They were in Saint Louis a few months ago and were amazing.

I know I'm on the late show with this; but, who knew Jason Newsted was in Queensryche. Maybe I knew it and just forgot it. I've listened to Queensryche for hours at a time on TH-cam; but, I don't recall seeing this particular video with Jason Newsted in it. Most of the time I'm listening to the music while at work, not looking at the videos. I Googled - "Is Jason Newsted in Queensryche" and all of these links to "Queensryche with Jason Newsted" popped up. LOL.. Todd La Torre....good choice to take the lead; but, Geoff Tate will always be Queensryche. Again, Todd gets his props because he sounds great and delivers as the new front man.

While I loved Geoff with the band, it’s not going to happen, so people should just get over it. Michael, Eddie, and Scott are the original founding members, that’s why they kept the name.
It is like this guy is singing a cover song of Queensryche. No one can fill in the gap that is left behind by Geoff Tete. If there is no Geoff Tete in QR there is no Queensryche at all.

He has a very deep voice, he reached low notes so easily, but struggled a little bit reaching high ones. Great performance by the whole band.
