I remember most of the footage and I loved seeing this adventure all in 1 Epic Tale! Good job, JD! Sure hoping to see more soon. Have to tell you, it got me so psyched that I grabbed my AT Pro & went out to the yard, dug 3 holes, found a modern penny and came inside a happy granny. Silly me! LOL
great music at 19:30, strong motive, great bass line, interesting to hear. Bravo! I studied music like that long ago, and wrote the same. So nice to see you use something a bit atonal. The thumbs up I am giving you is well deserved. Sent to you by an American living now in Italy, retired band director... Ciao!
You are a great film maker, love all the antiques in that house do you ever feel any presence from those places! Love your finds congrats on your Large cent, silver barber s, and all your relic were really cool!
That is a grand old home that you stayed in for just yourself. The furnishings were also beautiful and well kept. Have you ever run across any ghosts at any of the places you have stayed? Great finds!
Hi there, You are so much fun to follow around. Can’t wait to get started on my own hunt for coins and what not..Colorado is still pretty cold unless you stay in the sunshine but it may warm up enough tomorrow so wish me luck. Love all your videos from digging to deep thoughts. Keep up the good work. You are a great teacher. Thank you again for all the info and tips.
Thank you for an awesome tour, and dig at that wonderful house. The mirrors alone were amazing! Some of the transoms above the interior doors so beautiful. We understand why people update interiors of course, but I'm always disappointed from all the updates. Thanks for all you do brother.
you all prolly dont give a shit but does anybody know a tool to log back into an Instagram account? I was dumb lost the password. I would appreciate any help you can give me
@Dennis Johnny Thanks for your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm trying it out now. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
Wonder if the small piece that you found that broke that appears they have buttons on each end might have been what was hooked to the back of suspenders so that they would stay in place.
Congrats on the large cent JD! Still looking for my first large cent. I’ve been detecting for two years, hopefully this year will be my turn. Ground is frozen solid here in Michigan
I would not normally watch a video of this length regardless of who posted it because the choice I have is either to watch one video, or watch 10. Your timing couldn't be more perfect as much of the metal detecting community is frozen over, lol. I do have to say though that I am glad it is. This video, although most of which I've seen in bits from previous versions was really well compiled and interesting to watch. Although a marathon of footage, you kept me interested in true JD style. The house tour was incredible, the owner should be complimented with the decor and attention to detail, really well done! BTW I pick lamp #2. Very interesting video, the time flew by quick and I will admit, sometimes watching 1 quality Video out weighs watching 10 of lesser value. Thanks JD, great video.
Ha JD cool finds I'm from Wisconsin so it hard to find anything like you do in the east oldest coin to date is a 1890 indian. Well anyway good hunting.
Omygosh is that swans pond plantation in North Carolina..I'm.actually doing a research project on my real dads bunch with ancestry and if that's swans pond your at too funny cause I'm kin to the Erwin family that used to live there lol but if that's not swans pond it's all good and just shows how the houses looked the same even then but I love your digs and very cool and Happy hunting
I'm guarding I like dangling Jewel things and that reminds me of lamp that I got from my godmother but the lampshade just seemed to disintegrate still got the nap but I seem like the second or third one looks like it would fit on my lamp I wish I had it I love you you're so sweet how is your my son alright carry on
How sad, (and disappointing!) Didn't know that you were going to take us on a "tour" of what could have been a potentially awesome home....It breaks my heart to see a beautiful 1850 "plantation house" remodeled (not restored...big difference! ) and is apparently used as some sort of "bed and breakfast" kind of venue. It could have been restored to an amazing place, but it looked so commercialized with modern paintings mixed with a few period looking reproductions and beds and furniture in the bedrooms that kind of all looked the same, and most didn't look like it fit the time period. And, with numbered doors??!? You "could" have named each room after someone famous during the 1850's, like The Twain Room, or the Dickens Room, or Emily Dickinson, Tennyson, Monet, Queen Victoria, Lincoln and so on decorated each room to match the personality of the one it was named after! Don't know if the owners live there full time and take care of their "guests" or what, but with so much possibility to take a guest back to the time of 1850, the mark was woefully missed.
Still watching but nice 1912 D! Largie too? Congrats! Oh my... that 1916 S Barber Dime is stunning! What a score!
I enjoy your contagious enthusiasm and apt descriptions.

Yes, PL259 coax connector.
Ha, well this one started out climactically! I was wondering why the heck it was right in the middle of a dig.
Do you have a choice as to what is in your commercials ?
Unfortunately I do not have any control over that.
Do the owners of the plantation house rent it out?
