I loved this video!! I agree with almost all of your rankings. I will say, there should be a tier even further down for Marie Grace’s outfit 😂😂 I have only one “Christmas” outfit for my historical dolls but this kind of makes me want a few more..

I really enjoyed your historical girl holiday outfit ranking video. I had forgotten some of the outfits that were original to the dolls. I laughed when you said it looked like New Orleans had thrown up on Marie Grace. I actually really love that outfit. It reminds me of the costumes worn by some of the antique bisque dolls. Thanks for showing us!

This was really fun. I agree that Nellie's dress and Kit's plaid dress are both timeless. I think those are my 2 favorite from this list. Cecile's is really pretty too. Thanks for putting this together. It was very entertaining. :)

Melody has her holiday outfit still. Almost all of these dolls are retired, so only a couple girls could have holiday outfits; Claudie, Nanea, Mary Ellen, Melody, Julie, Courtney and the twins are all we have for historical girls (I’m not counting Rebecca because AG is pushing her into that cube as we speak and Kaya didn’t celebrate our winter holidays).
I didn't realize Melody still has hers. But it is sad that the newer girls don't have them and that Julie and Maryellen don't have theirs any more! It was such a staple to the historical girls collections back in the day. But I suppose that was when there collections were based on each book in their series for the most part! ☺️
Josephina did have an orange outfit, which I had, but I think that was a summer outfit. Her Christmas outfit is supposed to be gold, like a Christmas ornament. I think it’s very Christmas-y. Are you by chance, colorblind?
I am partially colorblind actually so maybe that contributes. Plus not the best stock photos since it's an older item. But that totally could be why I'm seeing it differently!
I dont have any of the american girl Christmas dresses, but felicity's has ALWAYS been my ABSOLUTE favorite of all time! 😍 i actually have all 6 of the american girl clothing patterns that were released for a short while, and felicity's Christmas dress is one of those patterns so i definitely plan on making it myself soon. I think for me, my top 5 would be felicity's Christmas dress, Samantha's Cranberry dress, kit's red Christmas dress, Addy's Christmas dress, and Molly's green velvet dress.
We have so many of the top ones! I'd love to see the dress when you make it! How cool would it be for you to make it in a different color or different fabric to make it truly unique. How cool!
@@Agstar91 I definitely plan to reuse that pattern to make more of the same style! I've actually made a couple in regular cotton to give her some other dresses and practice the pattern before attempting it with the blue satin I bought for her Christmas dress😂 also I don't really have a way to show it as I don't have Instagram or Facebook or anything except TH-cam. Tho maybe by the time I finish it I'll have my TH-cam channel up and running!
I do think that Addy’s Christmas dress was the only one I liked of hers. Oh I do remember that they had a longer coat and Derby hat for the dress as well. I really enjoyed that because moving from the North to South as a kid, the climate change was hard to get used to even as a kid. I couldn’t imagine Addy having to do that in reverse. People will go through hardships like that to be free. 😊
I’m interested to see Felicity’s dress in a different color. Maybe red or pink or plaid like Samatha. But honestly, her dress reminds us that blue is a Christmas color too. You can’t go wrong.

I’m not a big fan of Nellie, so I didn’t understand the dress. It looks like salt and pepper.
