The Book 1 is gonna surprise a lot of people and is a damn good 1st shoe to start D Book's signature line. They really did accomplished their goal of blending the best of both worlds, old school look/materials with modern comfort/tech. I think they will be a no brainier for a lot of people who can't afford to buy a separate shoe for bball and casual wear. It's especially a great option for parents who don't have a lot of money to buy their kids multiple pairs of shoes. But I think once the main issue with the Books rn is how Nike is handling the release of the colorways though. I think for some of the people who aren't crazy about the look of the shoe, more interesting colorways might be able to change their mind. They actually have a lot of potential IMO. But Nike has been slow to release new colorways and so far the colorways have been very monochrome, which isn't for everyone. Some of the colorways Booker has worn in-games are fire and completely change the vibe of the shoe compared to the ones released to the public. If they ever bring them to Nike ID, they would be amazing. That would elevate them to a whole different level.
Most comfortable shoe I own. I got the black ones. Wish I would have got all of them but I thought they were boring at first. I don’t ball anymore but they look awesome off court
