I wrote a script that sets a different wallpaper every day. When the MTR does it's daily reboot at 2:32am, it gets the new one, randomly chosen from a folder of images.
I have tried this, and I can not for the life of me get it to work. Am trying a on Yealink MCore Pro Mini PC setup, with a Teams Pro license - 2x 86inch screen + Touch screen, I have followed this to the exact settings and I still can not load up a custom back ground. I was using 1 jpg 3840x1080 not created with the MS Template, would this be the issue? Or can we use just a normal high res photo?
You should refer to the template so that you know what areas text and other things will be showing. But you do need the XML and the folder location of the image to be precise. If you are having challenges, then please make sure to open a support ticket. Those who have opened tickets are usually not putting the image in a folder and having that path in the xml correctly.
Thanks for this great video! I have been facing a problem since I enrolled the teams machine in intune: The touch screen stopped working. After I login the skype user, or after a reboot, the screen works for like a second and then it stops responding, but only on the "call buttons" area. You can still tap on the question mark for help. Any idea anyone?
Sounds like you should work with the OEM who you purchased the device from as there might be touch going to another place. But that would be the best place to start would be to work with the manufacturer of the device and make sure you are using it in a way that they support.
@@pSych0manT1s You should open a support case to see what might be the issue, but I know that a Teams Room basic license will not support custom backgrounds. If they used to work I would assume you are using standard or premium licensing and there will be caveats with those licenses as they are both legacy and do have some restrictions to them.
Great video. Thanks!

Oh wow! that sounds very interesting! got any details you can share? ;-)
I remember that script! - Jimmy Vaughan 😃
That’s cool please share.
Great video and guidance✌
Thanks mate, very well explained, got a subscriber
Can we change the font colour . Maybe basically because if I want a white background. The white text might overlap and wont be visible
You should follow the guidance on the learn article as to what can and cannot be changed on the custom background.

I have one question regarding Temporary Access Pass, can we use TAP for Teams rooms.
I think I understand the question. Yes you can use the logitech tap and it works for the one time passcode (OTP)
This process used to work and now doesn't at all - all our rooms had custom wallpapers and now 4/5 don't have them anymore. What changed?
You should follow these steps if you have a Teams Rooms Pro license.

We don’t have Teams Pro, but this used to work and no longer does on all MTRs except 1 which still has the custom background.
