- in this viideo i go over 7 tips to help out all of my fellow point guards in the rec center. if you have been struggling to get going or win games in rec these tips will help you to find more success and win games in solo rec center with randoms. and most of all if you follow these tips, they will help your randoms from going rouge and icing you out while selling the game
this channel is deicated to nba 2k and making content based around it. we mainly make conytent basket on mycareer and mainly rec center. but i have started to venture back out into park and theater so thats soon to come as well.

The power of communication is vital as well. I can manipulate the game this way and call plays or calm ppl down if they aren’t shooting well or not feeling like they’re not getting the ball.

Best tip is as a point guard know you can score at anytime. So don't ball hog or force your style on others. Pg should be able to adapt all the time

Also another tip is for folks to stop making PGs with 65 pass accuracy
Man I never understand why folk be doing that. For all dat just make the build at the sg.
:( I’m one of those pgs with 75 pass accuracy. I regret it a lot when going against comp players with high steal. 75 works for 3s but not for 5s 😢

If u do make a new build tho. Look for 89 Hali is the best pass style imo
People be making points to give themselves a better chance of touching the ball . To to actually run point

PG is the most important position in solo rec. Another tip, if you can make the other team lose faith in their PG you can win easily. Force turnovers, bad shots, bad passes early and they will ice him

I learned that knowing when to tap turbo or L2 is key on both ends of the floor. Never hold turbo
Unless ur getting back on d or ur on the fast break def never hold turbo. Truer words have yet to be said about the matter.

Couldn’t agree more about the slowing down when coming up the court. But the problem is that 2k made steals and bumps way too op this year so you can’t stand still and wait for the guy to get up the court if you have a lock spamming you. Literally crossbody reaches while you’re holding L2 and you’ll still get plucked by some clown that just spams
Amen! I've been preaching these very things. I can't even tell you how many games I facilitate as my center build because the PG is ass. The better players put the ball into my hands constantly because they know I have the IQ and court vision to make the best pass/play available to make the bucket.
Folks me out here making the game way harder thn it needs to be frfr.

Leaving your icons up unless you're in a scoring position up'd my game tremendously. Just had 12 assist in rec my first game after watching this. my build is a hybrid lockdown defender so i can guard any position 1-5 and normally be flying all over the place trying to help whoevers man might be cooking them but i focused on getting good looks for my teammates so we could set up our defense and matchups and disrupting the other teams pg and the flow of their offense and we won by 50.

3:25 tbh the game doesn’t seem to waste time on stand still teams. I use the longest lasting emotes to extend the time I have to scout match ups

Thing I hate about random rec is the fact that you have to tell someone to pass the damn ball to the open person... Now I can see if a person is missing shots but most random pg's don't pass the ball not even knowing if the person can shoot or not that is the most annoying BS ever

I had to make a point guard build due to the trash ass pgs thats out here.. 2k has been way more fun since i did that lol

I let the PGs know if you don’t swing me the ball for an entire qtr I’m not playing defense for an entire qtr

I ain't go hold you the PG's be terrible lol They do not pass so for solo rec I come 2-way 3 level😂Defense gone make up for the shitty PG play and if you good with the on-ball steals you always have the ball
Yea I’m a pass first guard averaging a double double every game and clowns still sell the game miss every shot and dribble the clock out 2k should permanently ban mfs who sell the game
