How making cookies became this thread throughout the novel that linked so many characters and scenes together. The female CEOs yearning to take care of the screaming baby. As a mom myself, that scene in particular pained me so much. My husband and I read a chapter a week of Christmas Karol in our family book club but I ended up reading the whole book in two nights because I couldn't put it down. ❤️
