@@ZarathyaParangtritis Simply solving a puzzle does not test intelligence. Most adults are unfamiliar with puzzles, beyond crossword puzzles. The sort of people that do well at puzzles tend to be deficient in other areas. It's one factor only. There are people good at puzzles who's lives are total failures and struggle through life. Puzzles are just a narrow component. Also kids and adults get varying exposure to certain types of problems and improve their skills the more they solve certain types of problems, puzzles included.

A quote from Albert Einstein, one of the smartest people ever:
"Everyone is a genius. But if you judge a fish on its ability to climb a tree, it will go its whole life believing it is stupid."
Just because you couldn't solve this puzzle doesn't mean you're stupid. Intelligence is like a cut gem, many different sides and facets. I've been called smart by nearly every person who met me, and I couldn't figure this out. It's okay, intelligence has different parts.

Welcome to this incredible journey of exploration and discovery. As we embark on this adventure, we find ourselves delving into the depths of curiosity, where thoughts intertwine and possibilities abound. Imagine a world where the mundane transforms into the extraordinary, where every moment is infused with wonder and excitement.
Now, let’s take a moment to reflect on the essence of existence itself, pondering the intricate layers that shape our perceptions and experiences. Picture the vibrant tapestry of life, woven together with threads of emotion, thought, and imagination. As we navigate through this landscape, we encounter a kaleidoscope of ideas, each one more fascinating than the last.
In this space, the rhythm of time dances gracefully, reminding us of the fleeting nature of each second. It’s in these moments that we grasp the significance of presence, as we engage with the myriad of sensations that surround us. The air is filled with an electric energy, sparking inspiration and igniting our passions.
Let’s pause to appreciate the beauty of the ordinary. The rustling of leaves, the gentle hum of distant sounds, all contribute to the symphony of life. It’s in this harmonious blend that we find meaning, or perhaps, we find the absence of it, leading us to ponder the great mysteries of our existence.
As we continue this exploration, let’s embrace the unknown, for it is within uncertainty that we often uncover the most profound insights. The path ahead may twist and turn, leading us to unexpected destinations, yet each step is an opportunity for growth and enlightenment.
So, as we journey forward, let’s keep our minds open and our spirits high, ready to embrace whatever unfolds. With every thought, we contribute to the grand narrative of life, a tale filled with endless possibilities and intriguing questions.

THE SPIRAL IS A DISTRACTION ! 3 points to solve this:
    1) ignore the spiral ! Focus on the RING and BALL-STRING
    2) at 0:12 seconds he tries to free the ball-string by getting the STRING on the outside first. (This will not work as the BALLS are too big and cannot follow).
    3) Therefore the REVERSE method has to be true! We must free the BALLS first and get the STRING to follow! The STRING is malleable/flexible and can clear the obstacles in its path.
*watch the video again with these points in mind.
**this puzzle (along with all other puzzles) is more about logical deduction more than anything else.

    1) Ask yourself why you want to seperate these two things. Realize you don't really care. Walk away.
    2) If there is some sort if unspoken value or necessity to removing these two things, pull one ball til the rope is taut. Continue pulling and it would probably rip the fragile wood center out in a satisfying way that would render the puzzle obsolete. Solving it forever!

Ironically, when i was 13, i tested at Yale to figure out my IQ. At the time they still had 3 IQ testing methods. One that is no longer used and the other 2 they still do use. The reason why the 3rd method is not used any more, is because it is what is now used to effectively measure for interspecies IQ, meaning they could use it to even test past the limits of what is considered "human" intellect. The highest end of what is called "human" intellect is, in the two methods still used, is the same in both methods. About 250 to 270. On the other, 3rd method, it caps at 3000. But the limit of biological capacity for intellect is only around 1200 on this scale. I scored a 562 on that scale, somehow. I was also involved in brain tests afterward that they used as reference in developing Neuralink.

    • @Reginatus
      @Reginatus 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

What i didn't know when i took this series of tests is that i genuinely tested at nearly double what is considered human intellect. It makes some sense, but not fully to me. While i had a college year 2 level of trading and writing comprehension at 8 years old, and still have an eidetic memory even now. Maintaining an eidetic memory after childhood is exceedingly rare. Possible, but rare to the point of being one in billions. Not only that, but i remember being barely 5 months old. This kind of puzzle is not hard at all if all they require your solution to be is unique for the problem. I could figure for four in the first few seconds of watching this video. Not even 1 second in, i knew it was a dumb thing of some clickbaiting variety. This kind of garbage actually gets me angry when people post it, show the solution, and say "oooooohhh i figured it out" as if nobody told them how before they post the video. If they really figured it out their selves, why not show how you figured it out. This kind of post, and the people who post it, are a complete joke.

These types of puzzles test someone's ability to try various solutions to the puzzle without pre-judging which might work. Most software engineers I know (including myself) don't have many issues with these types of puzzle specifically because this is normally how we work. Don't get stuck on the obvious.. look for what works.
Most folks get stuck on a seemingly obvious solution (or 2) and try to make that work, rather than looking for all possible solutions to see which works.
