Love this! I don't use my perfect pearls enough and now I'm excited to incorporate my new masks with my perfect pearls. Can't wait to see the rest of the tips!!
Using Perfect Pearls was one of the techniques (besides heat embossing) that got me interested in stamping in the first place. I haven't used them in a long time. I wonder which drawer they're in.... ;-) Thanks for the great tips. I'd never heard about setting them with a mist of water. I always used a bit of matte finish spray. Water would be much easier.
I've tried another way to give more textured/dimensional look. I've ran a cardstock through an embossing folder so it gives a raised pattern and then gently go over the raised areas with versamark ink. Then same thing, dust it with perfect pearls. It looks really vintage especially if there are crumpled lines on yr cardstock.. .
Thanks for this mini series because I bought perfect pearls awhile back & I'm not totally sure what or how to use them. So now I will use them more on projects
I just checked the first black strip and it seems to be just fine (even 4 days later). Mine didn't really have to "dry" since it was a very fine mist and I didn't spray it directly. Perhaps yours just got a bit too wet?
Thank you for doing quick tips on Perfect pearls. I bought them because I thought I could emboss with them and when I couldn't I didn't know how to use them, haha.
Thanks so much for doing this. I found that I had forgotten what to do with Perfect Pearls since I bought them several years ago. I am back to making greeting cards now and wanted to make use of them.

do you also do the finally friday videos???
Seems very similar to embossing but without heat settingit?
moist is all it needs right? So it doesn't need to be directly sprayed at all? Is there ever a time where the pearls might not set?
GREAT TIPS.... LOVE IT. Thank you Kristina! Super cute. Hug Irene

Do the perfect pearls only show on dark paper? TY
Thank you! (:
Could you not lay your stencil or stamp and mist with water and do the same?
I have yet to play with perfect pearls
