Haha what a load of crap lol... Arthur Chen is very talented and extremely good looking. He got the role cause he earned it. Wasn't handed to him on a silver plate. Just a bunch of haters and trolls... Almost every fandom was panting about this project so the envy is real.

Not someone who likes watchin Ren Min's dramas. To bad she's set to star with a ML I like to watch. None of the male actors mentioned in relationship to Dilraba appeal, they look too young to be her equal.
I agree about Ren Min, what is the deal with her ?! from bad acting to ugly director boyfriend just to get jobs?! Geez….. 🙄 She is in the same generation with Ouyang NaNa look at her she is top notch actress beside beautiful and poise. Ren Min better not screw up her drama with Zhang Wanyi the way she screw up with everyone else’s! I can’t watch her dramas without getting irritated 😤 so I dropped The Longest Promise, White Cat Legend etc….. As far as Arthur Chen with Dilraba I have mix feelings , I like them both but maybe not together 😆 we will see then !
I stopped watching any of her works when I heard about her dating rumors with a director of hers... tbh that's just so low of someone to date a director to get roles or script. A role that she did not earn it from her skills and hands I find it dirty At first I liked her with be eunuch in serenade of peaceful joy but then it got worst when the longest promise came out then I stopped supporting or watching her dramas. To me it's simply she does not deserve my support but if that's how she gets favor and scripts then kudos to her but I won't be supporting her dramas. I can't wait for ZLY's next drama!!! I'm so going to miss her in wuxia and xianxia dramas though I haven't gotten enough of her costume dramas 😢. DLRB is very pretty and she just need a script that matches her to do the magic. Hopefully she can show more versatility of her acting and hope she move away from costume dramas to start serious dramas early so her transformation will be easier when she hits ZLY's age.
Zhao Liying is in the same group of phenomenal actresses who elevate their co-stars. In that group is Zhao Lu Si and Bai Lu Yang Zi and Tan Songyun. It doesn't matter who you pair them up with they are always brilliant. Dilraba has never been my choice I watched in The Long Ballad but she was over shadowed by Zhao Lu Si. No denying she is beautiful but she falls flat in capturing my attention. The others I will watch anything they've been in. I will also add my own personal favourite which is Wu Jinyan it was her performance in Yanxi Palace that got me into Chinese drama's. I think she is a very underrated actress. However The Double might have done it for her this year because that is one of the best of 2024
Lusi is bland in every way. She always has the same facial expression and her "chemistry" with her co-workers is as boring as she is. Besides, Lusi is a typical rich kid who owes everything to daddy's money.
Dilraba was overshadowed by Lusi in The Long Ballad? The long ballad turned out to be a hit and it wasn't because of the boring lusi, but thanks to Dilraba and Leo, who played their roles perfectly. Dilraba won the Outstanding Actress award at the China-American International Festival for her role as Changge, and for that role she was also nominated for Best Actress at the Seoul International Festival, so please tell me what overshadowing you're talking about. You can cut out every scene in which lusi appears and the series will not lose anything and will still be one of the best Chinese series, thanks to the main characters.
Who's acting is really good, is seen by ayes and acknowledged by heart, not an award. I hope who has a very impressive acting can get a chance more in the future.. Not just because of commercial value.. it make me sad.. ❤❤🎉🎉

Heart has nothing to do with it, talent decides whether you are good or not. Awards are especially important for actors because they prove that their talent is recognized and appreciated.
